Through our people and technology, we connect clients to superior liquidity and data solutions as a trusted partner.Role Overview:We are recruiting high calibre candidate who will support the front office broking desks of TP ICAP in Operations. The role will lead a team of Trade Management Operations associates, specialised in Post Trade Support and Trade Management on cross products such as Interest Rate Derivative, Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, Credit and/or Exchange Traded Derivatives.The role is also responsible for team’s daily operational control processes to ensure the timeliness and completeness of the post trade flows from our organisation to clients. For the business it is also the First-Point-of-Escalation for any operations service matters. The candidate will work closely with the business and front office, to drive and discuss any new initiatives to aid the Brokers in Trade booking and Brokerage calculation, and supports Trade Lifecycle i.e., before, during and after trade executions. To provide operations feedback and perspective with Risk & Control mindset whilst facilitating the Business and Front Office from initial booking through the Front-Middle Office systems to Confirmations and back office system stacks.As the Head of Singapore Trade Management team, the candidate will have to ensure Service Level and both internal & external Client’s Requirements are met, with Escalation matrix and Contingency plan in place to meet intra day trading markets requirements.The role holds a place as also a key member of the APAC Operations Management Committee.The role and responsibility include People, Client Services, Operations Efficiency & Excellence, Quality & Control Assurance.Role Responsibilities:To assume full responsibility for managing and running of the Operational support of the Trade Management team in Singapore and their associated functions: Trade Process & System ManagementExtensive experience in comprehensive post-trade management, encompassing trade capture, booking, and post-trade reconciliation across a range of asset classes (Interest Rate Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, Credit, Money Markets, and Exchange-Traded Products). Have exposure to capital markets knowledge and products.Advanced proficiency in utilising Front, Middle, and Back Office systems, with a demonstrable record of identifying and implementing process enhancements and automation solutions.Ensure all Intra-day, intra-week, intra-month or any upcoming trade activities & tasks are well monitored, managed, and evidenced with audit trails & records. Such as Trade Confirmations accuracy and Trades Matching to meet both strict timelines and client’s expectation; ensures all enquiry are properly handled, promptly follow-up without missing or outstanding; ensures tasks are all completed by deadline or end-of-day.Expertise in operational oversight of trade management functions, including regulatory reporting and revenue reconciliation, with a commitment to ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all deliverables.Manage & support the relevant asset classes, ensuring that our business is supported in timely manner intra day to match trading markets demands.Involve in resolving complex issues across multiple trades / products, and conduct post-mortem or post event analysis, as required.Monitor all in-house Exception monitoring tools, to ensure that we provide a robust, consistent, and efficient trade management process for our business. Team, People & Stakeholder ManagementExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the development and maintenance of robust working relationships with the Front Office, Operations, Risk, and other key internal stakeholders.Proven ability to advance business initiatives through collaborative engagement Documented history of delivering outcomes that balance stakeholder expectations with the rigorous demands of operational risk management.Define, and provide oversight of the roles and responsibilities within the team, providing guidance and leadership to team members with industry standards of role modelling. Take ownership, where necessary, of any issues that may arise, in the day-to-day operating model of the Trade Management Team.Experience in managing 2-3 people teams and growing team’s careersStrong communicative leader to coach teamwork, resource planning, escalation and retrospective, information and knowledge sharing - to promote a healthy culture of speaking up and soft skill development such as pitching presentation. Risk & ControlIn-depth understanding of risk management practices within an operational context, with substantial experience in the proactive administration of control frameworks and regulatory compliance.Solid experience to engage with internal & external Audit, Business Risks & Control, Control Declaration & Attestations, understand firm’s risk governance frameworkStrong knowledge in Operations Governance Framework and document with Process Taxonomies to reflect & measure Trade Management deliverables, such as regular maintenance & update of Policy, Procedures & SOP, Process Mappings, Task List & Skill Matrix, MI and KPI, etc.Capacity to identify emerging risks and propose or implement appropriate mitigative controls, functioning as the first line of defence (1LOD) within operational processes. To anticipate and respond to regulatory and tech changes, ensuring readiness and alignment of business processes. Regional & Cross Regional Team GovernanceEngage with Regional and Global Operations counterparts across Operations. Participate in Agile and Global Matrix constructs, to drive BAU and initiativesProactively seek for alignment with the Regional Head of Trade Management to ensure the Singapore Trade Management team is always aligned to the TP ICAP Group & Global Operations strategies; supportive to our Senior Management directions.Significant experience in managing and collaborating with offshore teams, satellite hubs, and spoke-and-wheel support models, facilitating seamless service delivery and communication across multiple jurisdictions.High proficiency in business continuity planning (BCP), escalation protocols, and operational resilience, including an aptitude for transitioning roles and responsibilities to offshore centres as part of strategic optimisation initiatives.Proven competency in identifying and pursuing opportunities for process migration, capability building, and governance refinement when transitioning tasks between regional and offshore teams. Group COO Functional Collaborations & InitiativesSubstantial experience operating within a global matrix structure, collaborating effectively with other division within Group COO (ie tech) and functional leaders on strategic projects and operational improvements.Demonstrated ability to actively contribute to group-wide initiatives, promote best practices, and foster innovation in operational procedures and service excellence.Capacity to translate organisational objectives at the group level into clear, actionable deliverables for the team, ensuring alignment with broader corporate goals. Project & Remediation Management for Trade Management or Location Operations TopicsStrong project management acumen, with a track record of leading or supporting remediation projects pertaining to trade management, operational processes, and regulatory compliance.Competence in coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve defined project outcomes, drive process improvement, and facilitate effective change management.Be a valuable member to the APAC Operations internal Management group as a location head for Singapore Hub both as Trade Management, but also as key Ops point of contact for SG business.Ability to work alongside Operations Peer Management circle to collaboratively represent APAC Ops in front of stakeholders for cross Ops division initiatives. Especially where Operations is a one of the key stakeholders in any business initiatives. To provide Operations qualifications with analytical or procedural expertise, to ensure that RACI (Responsibility, Accountability, Consulted, Informed) is clearly defined that Operational goals and standards are compromised and agreed front-to-back with Business, Project Owner and Stakeholders.Established ability to diagnose root causes of operational challenges and implement comprehensive remediation plans within specified timeframes.Promote innovation and ways-of-working with continuous improvement plan for the Trade Management team. Process optimization and streamlining.
