They are on the hunt for a Trainee IP Legal Assistant  to train under the supervision of their IP Professional Support Manager, this is a great opportunity to your career by working alongside talented individuals of all levels including senior Fee Earners. The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of Patents and Trademarking and there is a clear career development route to becoming an IP Legal Assistant in 6-9 months from joining. The Role Once trained, you will:Support Fee Earners in IP managementHandling and coordinating of filing multiple applicationsUse various technologies such as case management systems, Patent specific platforms and the MS Office suiteProduce correspondence to clients, agents and patent/trademark officesProduce draft applications/specificationsManaging your Fee Earner’s diary and reminder systemsMaintain Case and Client Files within the Document Management SystemCompile official formsManaging own and Fee Earner Work In Progress, managing and checking invoicingDocumenting key processes and keep documented processes currentSupport and input into project workAssist monitor and manage email inboxesPrepare cost estimates, forecasts and client portfolio reportsHandle enquiries from clients and foreign agents  About You12 to18 months experience working in a similar role in a professional services firmHave some exposure to IP LawGood level of education including Law focused studiesProficient in Microsoft Office A good typing speedOrganised with good interpersonal skillsTeam working  The Package £26,000 starting salary & full training20 days annual holiday increasing annually to 25 daysFlex scheme allowing for an additional 8 days’ leave per yearFlexible working with 2 days from home, will kick in after 8 weeks after suitable training completedGroup Income Protection (after three months’ probation)Life assurance scheme (4 x annual salary)Private Medical InsurancePension schemeTravel and personal accident insurance for business and pleasurePerformance related bonus schemeStaff Introduction BonusLong Term Service Award SchemeCycle to work schemeAnnual season ticket loanEnhanced maternity/paternity packageAnnual social eventsBreakfast, drinks & fruit providedThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to learn about IP Law from the ground up, we'd love to have your application, please apply if this sounds like you.
