Department: Human ResourcesReports to: Manager, People Development and Organizational CultureDeadline: December 12, 2025Duty Station: Bishkek, KyrgyzstanSummary of PositionThe University of Central Asia (UCA) is committed to strengthening staff capacity and supporting continuous professional development. As part of this effort, UCA plans to conduct a Project Management training in Q1 2026. A qualified consultant or training organization is sought to design and deliver a tailored 2–3-day module that responds to staff needs, aligns with institutional priorities, and reflects international best practices in project management and adult learning. The training should be practical, engaging, and preferably delivered in Russian.Key areas of the program should focus include planning, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, team coordination, risk mitigation, and effective use of project-management software.Following this, the consultant will develop a full training curriculum with clearly defined learning objectives, detailed session plans, methodology, and supporting materials such as slides, exercises, case studies, handouts, and assessment tools. The curriculum should reflect recognized project-management frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile) and established principles of adult learning.At the end of the training, participants are expected to be able to implement at least 70 % of the following:Plan and schedule projects effectively using structured work plans and timelines.Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in their projects.Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.Engage effectively with stakeholders and manage expectations.Coordinate teams, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.Apply digital project-management tools to track and report on projects.Understand and apply core principles from recognized project-management framework for instance PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile).Solve practical problems using case studies and exercises relevant to their work.Assess their own competencies and identify areas for further professional development.On completion, the consultant will prepare a comprehensive training report summarizing the needs assessment, participant feedback, assessment results, lessons learned, and recommendations for future training.Expected deliverables include:A full 2–3-day training package (agenda, slides, exercises, handouts, assessment tools) based on identified needs.Delivery of the training in Russian in Bishkek, KyrgyzstanPre- and post-training assessment results with analysis.A final training report with feedback, evaluation results, and recommendations.Timeline:Module development: Jan 2026Training delivery (2–3 days): Q1 2026Final report: within 5 days post-trainingRequirements:Degree in Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (advantage)Additional education in facilitation, train-the-trainer is an advantageExperience delivering project-management training, ideally in education or grants sectorProven experience in delivering interactive programs including case-studies, exercises, discussions and storytellingAbility to engage diverse audiences and adapt methodsExperience developing 2–3-day professional training programs for adultsFluency in Russian for training and materialsExperience in Central Asia contextAvailability for in-person delivery in BishkekAt least two client referencesHow to ApplyReady to join our team?
