Our output reflects BBC values of accuracy and impartiality, free from commercial or political influence.Your Key Responsibilities And Impact Collect and deliver equipment, costumes, props, and other items as required by the business Conduct daily safety checks and inspections of vehicles along with any maintenance and cleaning of vehicles Ensure vehicles have the appropriate registration, re-registration, removal from registration, and technical inspections to be compliant with country laws Update necessary mileage or other logs Complete minor repairs which do not require special skills or equipment, including wheel replacementEssential CriteriaYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type Proven experience as a driver with a clean driving record and a knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs Strong time management and organisational skills with a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with employees and visitors Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings or weekends if required Basic record-keeping skills for mileage and fuel logsDesired But Not Required Experience driving different vehicle types (manual and automatic) Previous experience as a professional driver or chauffeur Customer service experience Multilingual communication skills Basic first aid trainingIf you can bring some of these skills and experiences, along with transferable strengths, we’d love to hear from you and encourage you to apply.DisclaimerThis job description is a written statement of the essential characteristics of the job, with its principal accountabilities, incorporating a note of the skills, knowledge and experience required for a satisfactory level of performance.
