ApplyDescriptionPurposeThe Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a variety of instructional and regulatory training programs to ensure staff are equipped to effectively support our youth and uphold the agency’s mission and valuesEssential Job FunctionsDesign, facilitate, and coordinate training courses—both in-person and online—including the development of instructional materials and participant resources.Conduct and manage regulatory training programs such as Safe Crisis Management (SCM), CPR, and First Aid.Stay informed on current SCM practices and implement monthly refresher sessions to reinforce best practices in residential settings.Coordinate training programs including, but not limited to, Psycho-Educational Treatment Model (PEM), New Employee Orientation (NEO), EQ2, and in-service trainings.Track, schedule, and organize training sessions, ensuring compliance with policies and state regulations while proactively addressing business needs and fostering continuous learning opportunities.Serve as an ambassador for the agency’s mission and vision, inspiring and motivating staff through leadership and passion for those we serve.Provide staff with the tools, resources, and knowledge necessary to successfully achieve the agency’s vision, mission, and values.Develop and promote credentialing programs and career ladder training initiatives, including certification programs, while monitoring outcomes to support employee success and retention.Support other trainers by preparing training spaces, providing technical equipment, and arranging necessary materials.Perform additional duties related to training and professional development as assigned.RequirementsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Must be able/willing to become a trainer in the following:Safe Crisis Management (SCM)CPR & First AidQPR – Suicide PreventionTrauma Informed CareCurrent Agency Treatment ModelOther trainings as neededThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EducationBachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
