Then this is a job for you!As Training Logistics Officer, you play a key role in the successful delivery of our training programmes. Working closely with the Programme Managers, you are responsible for the full logistical process: supporting the candidate selection process, arranging international travel, booking tickets and accommodation, assisting with visa procedures, and responding to participants’ practical questions about their stay in the Netherlands. Through smooth and thoughtful organisation from A to Z, you help create a professional, welcoming, and memorable experience for our participants.Please be aware, this is position is not a stepping stone to become a Programme Officer or Programme Manager.About The JobAre you an excellent organiser who loves to work in a dynamic, international environment? Then this is a job for you!As Training Logistics Officer at The Hague Academy, you have three core tasks: Logistic supportProvide logistical and administrative support to Programme Managers in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of training programmes, both in the Netherlands and abroad (no travel required).Arrange travel and accommodation for participants and trainers, including booking tickets and making other logistical arrangements.Serve as the first point of contact for participants regarding all logistical questions, ensuring clear, timely, and friendly communication.Coordinate practical arrangements with external suppliers and venues (e.g., catering, training rooms, transport) as needed.Contribute to a welcoming and professional participant experience throughout the training process. Training/Project administrationPrepare and manage online forms for training needs assessments, participant registration, and programme evaluations, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of data.Support the candidate selection process administratively and communicate with (potential) participants.Maintain accurate and well-organised training records, including participant lists, attendance, evaluation forms, and programme documentation.Provide basic project administration support by preparing and organising administrative supporting documents, keeping project files complete, and assisting Programme Managers in meeting administrative requirements. Organisational developmentContribute to Academy-wide activities such as maintaining the alumni database, standardising and storing training materials in the Academy database, and supporting communication and promotional efforts.Participate in meetings and working groups that contribute to improving organisational processes.About YouYou are a hands-on type of person, positive and solution oriented. You communicate naturally with colleagues, service providers and participants. You are an excellent planner and service oriented. With many different tasks to manage at the same time, you stay cool and focused. Your language skills are perfect both in speech and in writing.You Bring:At least a HBO (higher vocational education) degree.Several years of experience with organising (international) trainings, events or similar activities. Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented attitude. Stress resistance, flexibility, and the ability to improvise when needed.Fluency in English. knowledge of Arabic or Dutch is an asset.About Our OfferA dynamic, international work environment and a team of highly motivated colleagues.Salary between € 3,346.- and € 4,650.-, depending on experience.End of year allowance of 4.6%.23 vacation days and 15 days ‘adv’-holidays (flexible).A holiday allowance of 8%.Pension with ABP.Beautiful offices in the bustling heart of The Hague.Possibility to work from home.A monthly allowance of € 50,- for working from home.
