For the financial services platform, the resulting ecosystem has the following participants:Financial institutions such as rural bank and non-bank financial institutions (coops, lenders, etc.)Customers of these financial institutionsFinancial service providers that leverage the platform such as lenders and insurersTechnology providers that build solutions on top of the platformRole Overview The Data Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipeline. This position involves working closely with data product managers and Data Architect to ensure the availability and quality of data analysis, daily operations, reporting and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture and passion for optimizing data systems.Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelinesLeverage AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, RedShift, and EC2 to manage data workflowsUtilize Python for data processing, transformation and automation taskWork with NoSQL database and management data in various formats, particularly JSONDevelop and Execute ETL Processes to transform raw data into actionable insightsWrite and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analystsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data qualitySupport data warehousing solutions using Snowflake or similar technologiesMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and workflows for maximum efficiencyQualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting, economics, actuarial, statistics computer science or information technology or any relevant experiencePL/SQL Oracle Development Experience Experience pulling data from from a variety of data sources typesDimensional modeling experienceExperience interfacing with business users and understanding their requirementsAbility to learn and implement new and different techniquesStrong Project Management skillsExperience in AWS Data PipelineExperience in Python for data processing, transformation, and automation taskExperience with OLAP, SSAS, and MDExperience: Minimum of 3 years experience in data engineer or similar fields
