Role DescriptionWe are looking for a UI Designer to join our team, dedicated to creating outstanding online experiences that enhance customer satisfaction and support business growth. In this role, you will use customer insights to guide the design process, from initial research right through to final delivery. You will be instrumental in all areas of digital design, from developing low-fidelity sketches and prototypes to producing high-quality, fully interactive and responsive designs in Figma.Salary InformationPay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.Location: The position is located in Ditton Park, Datchet and follows a hybrid working arrangement, requiring between 2 and 16 days of office attendance per monthAbout YouCollaborate with multiple stakeholders to translate customer and business requirements into effective UI designs.Support with usability testing to optimise user flow and maintain design system consistency across interfaces.Communicate effectively with team members to address and resolve design challenges.Execute tasks with precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality outcomes.Quickly adapt to new situations and technologies, embracing them effectively.Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks appropriately.Essential SkillsDesign Software Proficiency: Skilled in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Miro.User Interface Design Expertise: Strong understanding of UI design principles and methodologies.Creative Innovation: Demonstrates innovative thinking and creativity in problem-solving.Attention to Detail: Executes work with meticulous attention to detail.Feedback Integration: Open to feedback and uses it constructively to enhance work quality.Project Versatility: Capable of handling diverse projects, from ambiguous to well-defined, simple to complex, and leading them from concept to completion.Independent Decision-Making: Confident in working independently and making informed decisions.Team Collaboration: Effective team player with strong collaborative skills.Proven experience in a UI design role, preferably within an e-commerce environment.Excellent portfolio showcasing UI design skills and understanding of user-centred design principles.We support the government scheme “Access to Work” please feel free to ask us about the access to work scheme.Desirable SkillsExperience applying user interface (UI) design within Agile development environments.Familiarity with user research, analytics, and remote testing platforms.Understanding of design systems.Experience designing and documenting UI components, design tokens, and interaction patterns.What We Will Offer YouRecognised and rewarded for a job well done, we have a range of flexible benefits for you to choose from- so you can pick a package that’s perfect for you.
