You'll ensure performance goals, service levels, and quality standards are consistently met while promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You will work remotely and reporting to the Director of Unemployment Claims.What You'll DoLead and Inspire: Provide full leadership support to the Claims team, driving accountability and professional growth.Improve Operations: Oversee daily workflows, claim volumes, and processing timelines to maintain peak efficiency and quality.Be the Go-To Expert: Serve as the primary escalation point for complex claim scenarios and team concerns, offering clear guidance and solutions.Coach for Success: Conduct regular team huddles and coaching sessions to build skills and confidence.Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to internal audit standards and regulatory requirements.Represent with Impact: Join client meetings and calls for strategic accounts or escalated issues, showcasing our commitment to service.Guide Strategy: Share insights with senior leadership on team performance, client trends, and operational challenges to shape future plans.Manage Logistics: Coordinate schedules, coverage, and task reallocation to keep workflows seamless.Innovate & Improve: Identify and implement process enhancements that boost efficiency and team effectiveness.QualificationsQualificationsExperience:5+ years in unemployment insurance claims, workforce development, or related public benefits administration2+ years of people leadership experience managing high-volume claims processing teams or customer service operationsKnowledge & Skills:Strong understanding of federal and state unemployment insurance laws, policies, and proceduresExperience managing operations in a regulated or audit-driven environmentPreferred Background:Claims adjudication, fraud detection, or appeals experienceBenefits/PerksGreat compensation package and bonus plan.Core benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and matching 401K.Flexible time off, including volunteer time off, vacation, sick, and 12-paid holidays.Additional InformationOur uniqueness is that we celebrate yours.
