The Universal Banker position will be responsible to perform the job responsibilities of both a Teller and a Personal Banking Representative. We are looking for someone with previous banking experience who is goal oriented and has excellent customer services skills. If you believe you have what it takes and are interested in joining our team then please apply today!NOTE Due to the need to "float" to local branches this role will require a vehicle, as many branches are not accessible via public transportation.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcess financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing and loan paymentsProvides excellent customer service, identifies customer needs, and suggests appropriate line of productsProactively develops new customer relationships and expands relationship with existing customerResearch and resolve all customer problems and inquiresInterview consumer loan applicants. Submit and close consumer and equity loansEducates customers on all products and services and alternate delivery channelsCross sell products and servicesEngage in outside business development activities including cold calling and community involvementContribute to the overall branch goals in sales and serviceJob SpecificationsHigh School diploma or GED requiredPrevious teller experience and cash handling experienceComputer experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Good oral and written communication skillsDetail oriented and good organization skillsGood working knowledge of all bank operating procedures, practice and policiesAbility to prioritize workflow, multi-task, time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesAbility to analyze situations and solve complex issues
