Upstream Fermentation Biologist (3614)

We are seeking a highly motivated Upstream Fermentation Biologist to join the team, leading the development and scale-up of fermentation processes from laboratory to industrial production.Responsibilities:• Develop, optimize, and monitor microbial fermentation processes in lab-scale and pilot-scale bioreactors.• Work with microorganisms under sterile, controlled conditions.• Collect, analyze, and experimental data; provide clear follow-up and reporting.• Collaborate closely with Downstream, Engineering, and Analytical teams to support process integration and improvement.Requirements:• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology, or a related discipline.• Hands-on experience with bioreactors, including large-scale systems — strong advantage.• 3–5 years of experience working with microbial cultures, bioprocess parameters (pH, DO, temperature), and sterile techniques.• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Location: Kiryat GatPosition Type: Full-time
