They provide bookkeeping, tax planning, payroll, and full business accounting support.You’ll be joining a supportive remote team led by seasoned professionals who believe in doing accounting thoughtfully, proactively, and with heart.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain full-cycle accounting functions, including chart of accounts setup, journal entries, general ledger oversight, reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity.Work extensively with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop for daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Utilize Double/Keeper to support workflow management and bookkeeping processes.Handle payroll processing using QuickBooks Payroll, and occasionally ADP, ensuring payroll taxes and filings are completed accurately and on time.Manage email communication, file organization, and client coordination through Outlook.Prepare month-end and quarterly financial reports, highlight key insights, and guide small business clients in understanding financial trends.Perform end-to-end bookkeeping tasks including receipt management, A/R, A/P, cash flow projections, and preparation of financial statements.Assist with sales tax filing when required.Provide support in tax-related workflows, including use of TaxDome, as needed.Collaborate with the team to streamline workflows, introduce efficiencies, and implement process improvements in a remote environment.Ensure adherence to U.S. accounting standards and maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.QUALIFICATIONS:2–3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally supporting U.S. clients.Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.Experience using QuickBooks Payroll and Double/Keeper for bookkeeping and workflow coordination.Proficiency in Outlook for communication and document management.Background in payroll processing, with exposure to ADP considered an advantage.Familiarity with sales tax filing and TaxDome is beneficial.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into broader responsibilities.Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision.Excellent written English communication skills.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 2 extra computer monitorsDedicated workspace free from distraction for completing work related tasksStable, high-performance internetDESCRIPTION OF IDEAL CANDIDATEProactive and Self-Starter - You thrive in taking initiative and driving projects forward.
