In this role, you will lead user research initiatives, craft detailed user journey maps, and develop prototypes that enhance the usability and overall experience of our platform. Your expertise will be instrumental in understanding user needs through interviews, surveys, and usability testing, translating insights into actionable design solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to incorporate user feedback into product development, ensuring our solutions meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. Additionally, you will leverage emerging AI-powered tools to optimize research workflows and contribute to continuous improvement in our UX practices. Your work will directly influence product decisions, improve user satisfaction, and support our mission of delivering seamless re-commerce experiences.QualificationsExperience: 2+ years of UX design experience with a focus on user research and experience design, preferably within B2B, SaaS, or e-commerce environments.Education: BA/BS/MS degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, User Interface Design, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or related fields.Portfolio: Demonstrated UX research process, user-centered design approach, and measurable outcomes.Tools: Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, or Balsamiq.Research Skills: Expertise in user research methodologies including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and journey mapping.Technical Skills: Ability to analyze behavioral data and research findings to inform design decisions.Communication: Strong ability to articulate insights and facilitate stakeholder presentations.Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and design thinking.Adaptability: Capable of managing multiple research projects and tailoring methodologies to various user groups and business needs.ResponsibilitiesLead user research initiatives by planning, conducting, and analyzing interviews, surveys, usability tests, and other research methods to understand user needs and behaviors.Create detailed user journey maps, user flows, and information architectures to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.Engage effectively with end users during research sessions, interviews, and feedback collection to gather insights and validate design concepts.Design and develop wireframes, user flows, and prototypes (low to mid-fidelity) that communicate UX concepts for validation and iteration.Analyze user behavior data, research findings, and usability metrics to inform and refine design solutions.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketing to translate user insights into actionable product requirements.Explore and leverage emerging AI-powered design and research tools to streamline workflows and enhance research capabilities.Document and present research findings, user personas, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.Design and conduct usability tests to validate design concepts, identify issues, and improve user experience.Stay current with UX research methodologies, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance research quality and impact.BenefitsCompetitive compensation packages including base salary, annual bonus, and stock options.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.Matching 401(K) retirement plan.Paid time off and holidays.Flexible telecommuting and remote work options.Support for ongoing professional development and continuing education.Team-building activities, off-site events, and social gatherings.Access to snacks and beverages in-office (if applicable).Equal OpportunityB-Stock is an equal opportunity employer.
