We foster a culture of transparency and flexibility, empowering our team members with the context and freedom to drive real impact.The roleAs a UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating intuitive, high-quality, and user-centric web applications and digital experiences for the higher education sector. In 2025, this involves more than just a flawless interface; it means pioneering solutions that integrate emerging technologies to address the complex needs of modern academic life. You will be a key driver of the user experience within TimeEdit, collaborating closely with development teams, product managers, and customers. To thrive in this role, you like the fast-paced and ambitious environment that is characteristic of a scale-up.Key ResponsibilitiesSet UX strategy: Lead and champion the user experience, from high-level strategy to the fine details, ensuring our platform continues to meet evolving user needs and business objectives.Conduct research: Take ownership of user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to translate user pain points and needs into actionable insights.Integrate emerging tech: Explore the use of AI and advanced design tools to push the boundaries of product design and create next-generation educational software.Manage the design system: Develop, maintain, and expand TimeEdit's design system, working collaboratively with development teams to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the product suite.Design and deliver solutions: Create and iterate on user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new and existing features, ensuring they are optimized for accessibility compliance (e.g., WCAG standards) and a wide range of devices.Champion usability and accessibility: Act as an internal advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the organization.Your profile5+ years of professional UX design experience: Proven experience designing complex software solutions for digital environments, preferably within a SaaS or B2B context.User-centered methodology: A strong portfolio demonstrating your user-centered design approach and process, including wireframing, prototyping, research, and testing.Proficiency in modern design tools: Expertise in tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar applications.Collaboration and communication skills: A team player who can clearly and effectively communicate design decisions, ideas, and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Academic background: We believe practice beats theory, but we still see an academic degree in a relevant area as a small plus.
