As we continue to expand, we're looking for skilled, growth-minded VDC Detailers who want to learn from the best, contribute to something bigger than themselves, and thrive in a culture built on precision, collaboration, and shared success.What You'll DoCreate detailed shop drawings and submittal packages using company CAD standards and templates.Maintain and update fabrication drawing packages throughout the project lifecycle.Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on estimated and field-verified conditions.Interpret architectural and structural drawings, RFIs, and specifications to ensure accuracy.Review and implement changes to project scope, supplemental instructions, and revisions as needed.Collaborate with Project Managers and Field Supervisors to coordinate drawing and fabrication release timelines.Assist team members and leadership with workload balancing and coordination.Identify and resolve drawing or coordination issues proactively.Contribute to the continuous improvement of detailing practices and standards.Stay current with industry trends and tools related to detailing.What We're Looking ForIntermediate proficiency in AutoCAD (2018 or newer).Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Basic understanding of construction knowledge and terminology.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Associate degree in Drafting, Design, Architecture, or related field, or high school diploma/GED with formal drafting/design training.CNC programming or fabrication experience (preferred).Familiarity with 3D modeling and BIM software such as Revit or Navisworks (preferred).Experience using HiCAD (preferred).Prior experience with architectural metal or panel system detailing (preferred).Why You'll love It HereNo cost to employee health insurance plan availableEAP, Dental, Vision, and 401K matchingGym membershipOne-on-one nutrition and gym coachPaid time offOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative work environmentOpportunity to make a significant impact and advance your career in the commercial building envelope industry
