Great Lakes owns and operates the largest and most diverse fleet in the U.S. dredging industry, comprised of approximately 200 specialized vessels. The Company's commitment to the IIF culture promotes a work environment where employee safety is paramount.The Opportunity: The Offshore Energy (OE) Vessel Logistics Administrator is responsible for establishing, maintaining and performing all duties required to provide administrative support for OE vessels and project jobsites in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures. 25% - 50% travel required. Travel to North East US and Canada required.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEstablish the infrastructure of any temporary project sitesArrange for crew boat dock space and fuel if needed on the projectSet up and manage temporary offices and laydown yard space at ports where the vessel will dock or load rockProcurement of small scale local purchases as needed for project site/vesselArrange transportation for crewmembers to and from the jobsiteArrange lodging for site personnel and crewmembers as necessaryArrange shipping manifests for incoming and outgoing shipments to the vesselReceive, code, and process invoices into Company systems for approvalsAssist with arranging of fuel for the vessel while at dockOther duties as assignedProfessional QualificationsB.S. degree in Business, Construction Management, or otherrelevant program, or 5 years equivalent experienceGood communication skillsAbility to prioritize duties and multi-taskStrong computer skillsStrong administrative and organizational skillsGreat Lakes Dredge & Dock Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
