America and abroad. We are seeking a high-impact, entrepreneurial Vice President - Sales to drive significant growth across the U.S. and Canadian contract hospitality markets. This is a high-autonomy, performance-driven leadership role for a proven industry professional who thrives on building relationships, closing major projects, and maximizing the performance of a distributed sales team. You'll be part of a dynamic environment that values agility and innovation, supported by our nimble manufacturing platforms and a global visionRole Overview & Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to significantly grow revenue and market share in the USA and Canadian contract hospitality sectors.Team Expansion & Development: Identify, recruit, onboard, and train new independent sales representatives in territories where Skypad currently lacks coverage, in addition to managing the existing team.Team Management & Coaching: Directly manage, motivate, and coach our existing team of 10 independent sales representatives across North America, driving accountability and high performance. Regularly travel to the field to co-sell, mentor, and maximize representative performance.CRM & Reporting: Implement and enforce proper reporting structures and CRM best practices (e.g., pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy) to provide clear visibility into team performance and market opportunities.Key Account Acquisition: Actively leverage your established network of design firms, procurement companies, and ownership groups to win new business and shape Skypad’s market expansion.Business Developmentt: Identify, develop, and close major FF&E and custom furniture projects across the U.S. and Canada.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Skypad’s international operations teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.Reporting: Report directly to the Managing Director with clear ownership of all North American revenue goals.Representation: Ensure strong company presence by personally attending and leading representation at key trade events and industry showcases.Required Qualifications (Industry Experience and Sales Leadership are Mandatory)To ensure success, the ideal candidate must come from within the industry and have proven leadership capability.Industry Expertise: Minimum of 8+ years of sales experience in custom contract furniture, FF&E, or hospitality interiors.Sales Leadership & Recruiting: Proven experience successfully managing, coaching, and expanding a distributed sales team (brokers, reps, or internal staff).Technical Acumen: Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales pipelines, generate reports, and forecast accurately.Network: Established relationships with key design and procurement decision-makers.Mindset: Independent, entrepreneurial, and highly results oriented.Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.Compensation & GrowthBase Salary: $150,000–$200,000 USD.Incentives: Uncapped Commission + Annual Bonus + Leadership Participation Path.Location & Travel: Flexible remote structure; frequent travel is required, estimated up to 50% within the U.S. and Canada.Support: Strong global back-end support from Skypad’s operations hubs.
