JOB SUMMARYAGSE is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Finance to lead the financial operations of our global organization. The VP Finance will be a member of the management team, responsible for overseeing financial reporting, planning, and risk management. This role requires both high-level strategic thinking and hands-on financial management experience in a dynamic and growing environment.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Financial LeadershipDevelop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, President and COO on financial planning and business operations.Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive leadership team.Financial Planning & AnalysisProvide timely and accurate financial analysis, performance metrics, and business insights.Monitor financial performance and proactively recommend corrective actions.Support M&A opportunities, as may be required, including due diligence and analysis. Accounting, Reporting, and Risk Management Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards along with compliance with all legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.Oversee internal and external audits.Maintain a strong internal control environment.Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.Oversee tax compliance and reporting requirements. Cash Flow & Treasury ManagementManage cash flow and banking relationships and provide input to ownership on investment strategies.Oversee financing, capital structure, and risk management initiatives.Operational EfficiencyEvaluate and optimize financial systems, tools, and processes for scalability and efficiency.Partner with department heads to drive financial discipline across the organization.Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 3–5 years in a senior finance role Strong understanding of manufacturing industry related accounting principles (ASC: accounting standards codification)Understanding the principles of corporate and partnership taxation and regulatory requirements. Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and business operationsProven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levelsExcellent communication, analytical, and leadership skillsProficiency with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, Excel, BI tools, tableau)PREFERRED EXPERIENCECPA/CMA or MBA.M&A or capital investment project experienceScaling manufacturing operations or transitioning through growth phasesFamiliarity with international operations, trade compliance, and multi-entity reporting.Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Prior experience with Epicor ERP software.Job Type: Full-Time Employment Pay: Salary $225,000-$250,000 per year PLUS discretionary bonus up to 35% of base.While a Company bonus is not guaranteed, this position’s maximum bonus percentage range can be up to 35% of base salary.Company bonuses are not guaranteed and are based on your performance, the department’s performance and/or the Company’s financial results.This role is considered exempt and an “ONSITE” role only.Benefits401(k)401(k) matching 100% up to 5% of compensation Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programFSA “Flexible Spending Account” Health insuranceLife insurancePaid time off.Tuition reimbursementVision insuranceWhat We OfferAdvanced Ground Systems Engineering (AGSE) offers an excellent benefits package, which includes healthcare, a 401(k) plan, and tuition reimbursement.
