Vice President, International Relations & Strategic Affairs – Israel & Middle EastHybrid role, based in Israel – No relocation requiredLocation: IsraelType: Founding Executive Role | Equity & Long-Term Incentive Plan⸻About the OpportunityWe are building a next-generation infrastructure-backed international energy platform, integrating global energy trading, refined products storage, and LNG operations across Israel and the broader Middle East.Supported by international strategic partners from the Gulf, Europe, and the U.S., with significant project financing in place, the company is advancing multi-billion-dollar infrastructure and trading initiatives designed to seamlessly connect energy supply, storage, and market access across the region.This is a founding executive opportunity to shape an energy platform with strategic commercial, operational, and geopolitical impact.⸻Role OverviewAs Vice President, International Relations & Strategic Affairs, you will lead the company’s strategic engagement with governments, regulators, investors, and commercial partners, ensuring alignment between corporate strategy, regulatory frameworks, and market execution.Your role will be pivotal in: • Shaping regional policy and regulatory frameworks to enable large-scale trading, LNG, and refined products operations • Driving commercial partnerships, joint ventures, and cross-border agreements • Aligning corporate strategy with investor objectives, market opportunities, and geopolitical considerations • Securing approvals and facilitating the launch of high-value infrastructure and trading projectsThis is a senior leadership role with direct influence on both the business and strategic dimensions of the company’s operations.⸻Key Responsibilities • Lead international relations, government engagement, and strategic affairs across Israel, the Middle East, and Europe. • Drive commercial and strategic initiatives for LNG, crude oil, and refined products trading and storage. • Build and maintain relationships with governments, regulators, investors, and strategic energy partners. • Represent the company in high-level diplomatic, policy, and commercial forums. • Prepare and present strategic materials for investors, governments, and project partners. • Support joint ventures, cross-border agreements, and partnerships with global energy and infrastructure entities. • Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to ensure alignment of commercial, operational, and regulatory objectives.⸻Candidate Profile • Senior-level experience in international relations, government affairs, diplomacy, or strategic partnerships within global energy, trading, LNG, or infrastructure sectors. • Proven ability to engage with governments, regulators, and investors on high-value, complex projects. • Strong understanding of LNG, crude oil, refined products, energy corridors, and strategic infrastructure projects. • Experienced in preparing investor, government, and board-level strategic materials. • Exceptional negotiation, diplomatic, and cross-cultural communication skills. • Strategic thinker capable of integrating commercial objectives with geopolitical considerations. • Fluency in English required; Arabic or Hebrew are an advantage but not mandatory.⸻Compensation & Structure • This is a founding executive role for a senior leader seeking significant long-term upside. • During the pre-commercial phase, the role is equity-based, aligning the leadership team directly with value creation. • A full executive compensation package, including salary and performance incentives, begins upon the launch of commercial operations and/or key project financing milestones. • The long-term incentive plan is designed to be highly attractive, reflecting the scale and strategic impact of the company’s projects. • Backed by strategic international partners and secured project financing, ensuring the company’s operational and commercial credibility from inception.⸻Why Join Us • Shape a next-generation regional energy platform from inception. • Lead commercial, cross-border trading and LNG initiatives, alongside high-level governmental engagement. • Collaborate with world-class leadership teams and international partners. • Influence national-level energy strategy, regional cooperation, and critical infrastructure projects. • Be part of a founding executive team defining corporate strategy, operational excellence, and international reputation.⸻Location & Work ModeThe role is hybrid, based in Israel, with regional travel across the Middle East as required.
