The company has experienced rapid organic growth through short-form video content, particularly on Instagram almost entirely through self-created reels. They are seeking a high-level creative who can take over video editing and short-form content production.About The RoleOur client requires the perfect candidate to take over video editing, content organization, and short-form social execution to relieve their founder from daily production. The goal is to maintain her content’s authenticity and high engagement while freeing her to focus on creation, learning, and growth. This person will begin as a hands-on editor but has room to grow into a social media management or creative direction role across multiple channels (TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).Key ResponsibilitiesEdit 2-3 high-quality reels per day aligned with brand tone and energyOrganize and manage B-roll, assets, and templates across multiple platformsRepurpose content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube ShortsMaintain consistency in style, pacing, and voice to match Brooke’s brand identityCollaborate with Brooke for feedback and iteration on creative directionTrack performance analytics (optional phase two responsibility)Grow into managing entire channels or team functions over timeKey SkillsStrong video editing skills for short-form, social-first content (Instagram, TikTok, Reels)Experience editing motivational, wellness, or personal brand contentSkilled in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or DaVinci ResolveStrong understanding of hooks, pacing, and viral short-form trendsExperience organizing large content libraries and managing creative assetsStrong English communication (written & verbal)Familiarity with basic social analytics and engagement trackingHighly organized and structured — must manage content libraries efficientlySelf-starter who requires minimal hand-holdingComfortable working with a founder still developing leadership skillsCreative and entrepreneurial mindset; able to take initiative and propose improvementsEmotionally intelligent and collaborative communicatorOpen to feedback and capable of maintaining consistency in brand toneLong-term mindset — seeking someone who can grow with the brandWhen Applying For This Position, Please Complete The Following1 - Video Introduction SubmissionRecord a short video (maximum 3 minutes) using Loom or Vimeo answering these questions:Tell us a bit about yourself.Describe your relevant experience for this position.Why would you be a great fit for this role?2 - Typing TestThe passing score is a minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute (WPM).Before taking the final assessment on Somewhere’s typing test, we highly recommend practicing with other online typing tests, as you will have only one attempt for this application.Please ensure both requirements are completed before submitting your application.
