Visiting Assistant Professor, Management

Expected to begin Spring or Fall 2026, this is expected to be a three-year, temporary, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Management, Strategic Management, and Human Resource Management. Student advisement along with departmental, college, and university service as well as scholarly activity is also expected. Faculty are further expected to be actively engaged on campus and contribute to an energetic educational environment. The Management, Information Systems, and Analytics (MISA) department provides our students with opportunities to cultivate a profound understanding of information systems, technology, and analytics, along with insights into the foremost principles and business practices of the 21st century. The School of Business & Economics is internationally accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). We offer students a broad-based education with a global perspective and an emphasis on experiential learning. As SUNY Plattsburgh is an institution that delivers challenging and high-quality educational experiences to a diverse group of learners, the successful candidate must demonstrate an understanding of and sensitivity to diversity, inclusion, and equity-minded policies, programs, and practices. The successful candidate may be asked to teach courses in a distance learning format.
