Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Visiting Lecturer - International Economics to join our team.Key Responsibilities Commitment to teaching: Demonstrate unwavering commitment to teaching and consistently strive for excellence in instructional methods.Reliable Course Delivery: Minimise lecture cancellations and rescheduling, ensuring regular and dependable course delivery.Module Plan Development: Develop and submit comprehensive module plans within the first month of the academic year adhering to the latest guidelines and revising them annually.Course Materials Preparation: Prepare thorough course materials that align with the module plan, ensuring curriculum coverage and adherence to syllabus guidelines.Continuous Assessment and Feedback: Maintain continuous assessment methods, align with faculty requirements, and provide timely, constructive feedback to students.Mentoring and Support: Engage in mentoring and provide academic support to students as needed, ensuring their academic success and development.Professionalism and Courtesy: Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with students, colleagues, and staff members.Punctuality and Timeliness: Be punctual and deliver lectures and assessments within specified timeframes.Adherence to Institutional Policies: Adhere to all institutional policies and guidelines set by the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) and Senior Management of RIC.Academic Integrity: Uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and promote ethical behaviour among students.Professional Development and Research Engagement: Seek opportunities for professional development, including attending workshops, conferences, and further education. Engage in research activities to foster intellectual growth and contribute to the academic community.Requirements Having a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) special degree with First Class or Second Upper from a recognized universityMacroeconomic background would be an added advantage.Familiarity with Balance of Payments, Exchange Rate, Purchasing Power Parity, Monetary Policy, Unemployment & Inflation
