We help partners turn transaction data into engaging, profitable, compliant, and delightful rewards experiences.The RoleWe’re hiring a VP of Operations with a strong financial backbone to own the operating engine of Mirado: financial operations, revenue operations, offer operations, reconciliations, billing & collections, insurance, and compliance. You’ll design processes, stand up systems, and lead a scrappy team that turns complexity into crisp, scalable execution and healthy unit economics.What You’ll DoOperational LeadershipBuild and lead Ops (Offer Ops, RevOps, FinOps, Partner Ops); hire, coach, and set OKRs.Architect lead, contract, launch, billing, cash workflows with clear SLAs and controls.Program & Portfolio ManagementAlign work to strategy using prioritization policies and WSJF (Weighted Shortest Job First).Run a light PMO: maintain a groomed portfolio, balance capacity vs. impact, and schedule quarterly planning.Communicate status, risks, and decisions to executives and stakeholders with crisp, cadence-based updates.Project Management (Plan → Execute → Deliver)Build integrated plans (scope, timeline, dependencies, resourcing) and drive cross-functional execution.Task management and unblock: assign owners, track progress, and ensure deadlines land.Budget ownership for projects; monitor spend, surface tradeoffs, and find cost-savings.Quality assurance: define acceptance criteria and ensure deliverables meet standards and customer expectations.Risk management: identify, assess, and mitigate financial, technical, and organizational risks.Financial & Revenue OperationsOwn invoicing, AR/AP, collections, cash application, and month-end close inputs; partner with Finance on GAAP revenue recognition (SaaS + usage/variable rev share).Stand up systems (QuickBooks, Bill.com, Salesforce) and BI for MRR/ARR, gross margin, cohort profitability, cash conversion.Reduce outstanding AR, improve billing accuracy, and drive gross margin via cost controls and bad-debt reduction.Offer & Data Operations (Rewards Infrastructure)Oversee merchant-funded offer setup, QA, targeting/pacing; ensure clean integrations with card networks, open banking (e.g., Plaid), and FI partners.Lead transaction/offer reconciliation and payouts; manage accrued rewards liabilities, breakage analyses, and partner revenue shares.Establish data quality checks (match rates, deduping, fraud/risk flags) and run incident response/post-mortems.Process Excellence & ChangeMap and analyze workflows (ideally using BPMN/SIPOC); identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.Design scalable processes with clear roles, RACI, and KPIs; implement continuous improvement cycles.Lead change management: communicate benefits, deliver training, and support teams through transitions.Select and implement tooling to automate/streamline processes (process orchestration/automation where useful).Customer Onboarding & EnablementDesign and run a robust onboarding program with tutorials, docs, checklists, and success KPIs.Deliver training (live sessions/webinars/workshops) and provide tailored enablement for key accounts.Partner with Customer Success to resolve onboarding pain points and drive time-to-value.Use data to iterate: analyze onboarding metrics and funnel drop-offs; feed insights back to Product/Engineering.Partner & Vendor OperationsOwn onboarding playbooks for FIs, neobanks, and enterprise merchants (technical certification, data feeds, compliance reviews).Manage vendors and contractors: selection, contracts, SLAs, performance management, and renewals.Compliance, Insurance & Risk (with Security/Legal)Drive audit readiness for SOC 2 Type II; maintain policies, access controls, and evidence collection.Oversee marketing/compliance reviews for partner-facing copy. Coordinate insurance requirements and renewals.Tooling & AnalyticsImplement the ops stack: CRM (Salesforce), ERP/accounting, billing, CLM, project management, and lightweight data layer.Build executive dashboards covering portfolio health, launch velocity, SLA attainment, reconciliation accuracy, timelines/budgets, and unit economics.You Might Be a Fit If You Have6–12+ years across Operations and Finance/RevOps/FP&A in fintech, payments, adtech/martech, or B2B SaaS.Familiarity with card-linked offers, merchant-funded rewards, open banking, FI partnerships, or payments networks.Hands-on mastery of billing/collections, revenue recognition, and cash-flow mechanics for hybrid SaaS + usage models.Systems builder: implemented CRM/ERP/billing/CLM and integrated with BI; comfort with KPI instrumentation.Analytical chops: advanced Excel; working SQL preferred.Process-and-controls mindset: speed and auditability; able to pass SOC 2 Type II without slowing the business.Excellent cross-functional communicator across GTM, product, data, finance, legal, and security.Nice to HaveCPA/CFA/MBA (or equivalent rigor); prior SOC 2 ownership; experience with PCI scoping, vendor risk, DPAs.Rewards liability accounting, breakage modeling, and variable rev-share experience.Prior leadership of Partner Ops with FIs/neobanks/networks.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary + meaningful equityHealth, dental, vision; 401(k)Remote-friendly culture; periodic offsites; ~5% travelHow to ApplySend your resume/LinkedIn and a brief note on a system or process you built that moved a core metric to careers@mirado.ai with subject line “VP of Operations — Your Name.”
