About the Client:Our client is a Series A WealthTech startup that has reimagined the way Financial Advisors connect investment products to the bigger picture of an investor's life goals. Their platform enables over 17,000 Advisors across North America to deliver a higher class of Wealth Management experience.The Opportunity:You will shape the People strategy as the company grows from ~100 to 200+ globally distributed employees. As the senior-most People leader, you will act as a strategic advisor to the C-team AND represent People strategy to the Board and Investors. Leading a team of 4 (including a Director of People), you will build world-class People Operations and Talent Acquisition functions to bring more discipline around Hiring, Onboarding, Performance Reviews/Management, and Succession Planning.The Skills/Requirement Needed to Succeed:You have been the senior-most People leader at a B2B SaaS firm that has scaled from sub-100 to 200+ employees.You have experience managing a globally distributed workforce of Full-Time/Perm employees.You have 10+ years of progressive People leadership across multiple functions, including People Operations,Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Total Rewards.You're in Halifax, NS, or open to relocating there.Martyn Bassett Associates:Martyn Bassett Associates is a team of recruiters solving the ambitious goals of startups and scale-ups by recruiting world-class sales, marketing, and product management talent who deliver growth and scale.
