Construction Management is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site construction activities through installation on a project or multiple projects. Monitors safety, quality, and schedule in the field, while providing technical expertise and ensuring work in place meets quality requirements of contract documents, applicable codes, and Disney standards. Coordinates and interfaces with all WDI Studios, DLR / WDW Operations and Security, contractors, vendors, and governmental agencies. Construction Management is the primary responsible Studio for everything that happens on WDI construction projects, including all impact to Operations.

This is a short term project hire role reporting to the Construction Management Portfolio Executive. Job Scope: What You will do: Primary DutiesAuthorship of construction strategiesManages multiple bid packagesResponsible for on-site construction documentsUpdates natural disaster preparedness annual protocolsManages and secures all construction sites during emergency preparednessReviews and approves the contractor's project scheduleInterfaces with DX Senior ExecutivesEnsures directives / change orders and pay applications are workflowed in a timely manner to avoid contractor payment delaysArbitrates directive negotiation conflicts between the contractor and estimatingTechnical SkillsSpecialized Skills:

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
