Warehouse Assistant

Poplar Grove Winery is seeking an individual to join our team as a “Warehouse Assistant”.This is an entry-level, on-site, part-time/seasonal position with training provided.Daily duties may include.Picking/Packing Direct to consumer orders.Re-stocking DTC Packing areas and remote warehouses.Picking/Packing/Shipping Purchase Orders.Loading and unloading trucks.Recycling.Custom labelling of product.Picking/Packing Wine club shipments.Working on our Production Bottling Line.Maintaining a safe and clean workspace.Assisting with events.Experience in the following areas would be considered an asset. General Wine Knowledge.Picking/Packing Orders.Using Forklifts/Pallet Jacks.Using Pallet Wrappers/Pallet Flippers.Basic Logistics.Microsoft Office.Use or familiarity with Resource Planning Software.Please be advised that this position will entail the following daily.Standing or sitting for long periods of time.Heavy lifting.Repetitive tasks.Reading and writing in English.Working Independently or as part of a team.The “Musts”.Steel-toed CSA approved footwear.Class 5 driver’s license.Own transportation.Punctuality and Consistency.Wages will reflect relative experience.Please email your resume and a brief note describing why you are best suited for the job to richard.ora@poplargrove.ca with the subject line “Warehouse Assistant”.Anticipated start date is mid to late August 2025.Compensation: $17.85 – $21.00 per hour
