Job DescriptionDevelop an Overall Test and Teardown Strategy for IMG PRCs in-line with IMG and Global prioritiesDeliver an engine and transmission teardown process that covers All TIS Co-ordinate engine and transmission teardown selection process with Quality and PD groups Manage and Track return and teardown timing to meet assigned KPIs Ensure detailed teardowns are completed to ensure adequate documentation of failure mode(s) Attend appropriate Quality / PD / Manufacturing forums to track ICA/PCA status vs failure modes Manage the introduction of new engine and transmission variants into the IMG teardown process by ensuring additional tooling and training is provided Deliver a L2(Component) and L3(Vehicle) level test process for IMG PRC Implement testing strategy, in-line with strategy led by the IMG PRC Manager Ensure appropriate test facilities and procedures are operationally implemented in IMG PRCs Manage and Track L2/L3 testing and ensure documentation of test results Report out status of testing outcomes to appropriate forums and personnel ResponsibilitiesDevelop an Overall Test and Teardown Strategy for IMG PRCs in-line with IMG and Global prioritiesDeliver an engine and transmission teardown process that covers All TIS Co-ordinate engine and transmission teardown selection process with Quality and PD groups Manage and Track return and teardown timing to meet assigned KPIs Ensure detailed teardowns are completed to ensure adequate documentation of failure mode(s) Attend appropriate Quality / PD / Manufacturing forums to track ICA/PCA status vs failure modes Manage the introduction of new engine and transmission variants into the IMG teardown process by ensuring additional tooling and training is provided Deliver a L2(Component) and L3(Vehicle) level test process for IMG PRC Implement testing strategy, in-line with strategy led by the IMG PRC Manager Ensure appropriate test facilities and procedures are operationally implemented in IMG PRCs Manage and Track L2/L3 testing and ensure documentation of test results Report out status of testing outcomes to appropriate forums and personnel QualificationsEducation Qualification Engineering preferred.No. Of Years Of ExperienceMin 6 years’ experience in a technical environment requiredProfessional Exposure(Technical Skills)Automotive experience preferredPreferred Previous ExperiencesPower train Manufacturing, PD in a manufacturing-design environment.Functional SkillsStrong Technical, Analytical skills requiredHands on experience in Engine Assembly/ Dyno Testing/Power train quality is required.Behavioural SkillsLeadership, Results-driven attitude, Effective communication skills (incl English) both verbal and written. Ability to influence and build relationships.Special Knowledge/SkillsRequiredG8D, GCR technical investigation,Quality-AI / GSAR / OWS-SERVIS2 / Microcat / PTS/Microsoft Office, Ford QOS, Tracklite.Any OthersOn site roleFlexible work hours required (incl participation in global mtgs in evenings) Limited travel may be required.External Interface for this position includes: supplier and some dealer interface requiredInternal Interface for this position includes: Significant cross function interface required at all levels of the organization
