Job Title: Waste Management Engineer / Project ManagerLocation: Dubai, UAEJob Type: Full-TimeExperience: 2-3 years About the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Waste Management Engineer to support our Waste Management division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading project delivery, ensuring compliance with local and international standards, and driving innovation in waste management strategies across our projects in the GCC region. This is a mid-level position requiring strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of waste design regulations, especially within the UAE and wider GCC.Key Responsibilities:Support the Waste Management department, overseeing all technical design work and coordination across multiple projects.Understanding of sustainability requirementsDevelop, review, and approve waste management reports, drawings, and technical documentation in compliance with local authority requirements and Sustainability requirements (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DDA, DSO, Trakhees, etc.).Coordinate with clients, architects, master planners, and other disciplines to integrate waste strategies into overall project designs.Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff within the department.Manage department workload, resources, and timelines to ensure quality and timely project delivery.Represent the company in client and authority meetings, presenting technical solutions and managing feedback.Stay updated on latest sustainability trends, smart city waste strategies, and regional regulatory changes.Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Waste Management design.In-depth knowledge of local waste regulations and authority processes in the UAE and GCC.Project coordination skills.Excellent written and verbal communication in English.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.
