Wealth Management Data Analyst

About the roleAs a Data Analyst in Bank Jago's Wealth Management team, you'll play a critical role in the company's growth. This position requires you to work closely with multiple business stakeholders within the retail banking team, including business, product, data engineering, data science, and other functions.The role would require you to conduct impact and growth analyses, and collaborate with different internal and external stakeholders. You'll also be responsible for ensuring the validity of data, transforming data into actionable insights, and operationalizing those insights.To be successful in this position, you'll need to have a deep understanding of the pain points and opportunities for the business, strong data analysis skills, and excellent communication skills to work effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.What you will do day to day:Develop and maintain robust SQL queries to extract essential data from various databases.Clean, transform, and manipulate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.Maintain and optimize existing data tables using dbt, orchestrate workflows with Airflow, and manage code versions with Git.Create insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Looker Data Studio to present complex data clearly.Perform in-depth data analysis to identify key trends, patterns, and opportunities. You'll work closely with stakeholders to derive actionable insights that directly support our retail banking team's strategic goals.Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly to maintain data integrity and ensure reliable reporting.What You'll Need to HaveMinimum RequirementsStrong SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with relational databases.Basic statistical knowledge for effective data interpretation and analysis.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with both technical and non-technical teams.What Will Make You Stand OutExperience with Python for data analysis and scripting.Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Airflow.Proficiency in dbt (data build tool) for data transformation.Understanding and experience with Git for version control.
