Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Web Engineer for a full-time contract position. The core mission is to design and build a shared TypeScript SDK (Software Development Kit). This SDK will serve as a central repository for reusable platform libraries, tools, and best practices across the organization. The goal is to make it significantly easier for teams to integrate with the internal web infrastructure, enhance consistency, and accelerate development workflows enterprise-wide.This role is embedded within a broader platform mission, not a single product team. You will work in close collaboration with internal advisors, maintain a lightweight standup cadence, and lead a focused, well-scoped project. While operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will be fully supported by stakeholders across the company.What You'll Do:Design and develop the shared TypeScript SDK for use across the internal web stack.Consolidate critical platform libraries, gRPC wrappers, and common utilities into the SDK.Engage directly with web infrastructure teams to align on best practices and actively encourage adoption of the new SDK.Contribute significantly to developer experience (DX) improvements through robust documentation and tooling.Participate in web-focused ceremonies (advisory boards, check-ins) and collaborate across various platform missions.What We're Looking For:Strong expertise in TypeScript, including sophisticated knowledge of structuring libraries and reusable modules.Solid understanding of web infrastructure, covering dependency management, build tooling, and API integration (e.g., gRPC).The ability to operate autonomously, navigate ambiguity effectively, and drive alignment across disparate teams.Comfortable interfacing with a variety of teams and disciplines to gather input and evangelize the usage of the SDK.Bonus: Experience contributing to SDKs, internal platforms, or developer experience (DX) teams.
