Website Designer (Philippines | WordPress, Wix, & SEO Expert)

About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Website Designer based in the Philippines who is experienced in WordPress, Wix, SEO optimization, and modern UI/UX design. The ideal candidate has a strong design sense, understands how to create functional, fast-loading, mobile-responsive websites, and knows how to optimize for both user experience and search performance.You will collaborate directly with business owners and internal teams to design and maintain websites that perform beautifully, rank well, and convert visitors into leads.Key Responsibilities:Design and build websites using Wix and WordPress, ensuring seamless performance and brand consistency.Configure and integrate apps for bookings, e-commerce, forms, payments, and live chat.Conduct full SEO optimization (keyword research, metadata, headings, site speed, and mobile responsiveness).Use SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools to audit and improve site rankings.Create Figma mockups and Canva layouts to present clean, user-friendly prototypes before final builds.Perform regular website management—content updates, plugin maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance checks.Implement on-page SEO strategies and track site analytics to measure and improve engagement.Qualifications: Proven experience designing and managing sites in WordPress and Wix Strong background in SEO best practices and performance tracking Proficiency with Figma, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite Understanding of responsive design, UX principles, and accessibility standards Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console) Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlinesPreferred Experience: Prior work in digital marketing or creative agencies Experience with custom CSS/HTML adjustments on Wix or WordPress Ability to improve Core Web Vitals and page-load times Comfort using project management tools like Trello, Asana, or ClickUpCompensation: Competitive pay (based on experience) Performance bonuses for SEO and traffic milestones 100% remote and flexible hours Creative autonomy with growth potentialHow to Apply:Please submit: 1️⃣ Your portfolio or website samples (WordPress or Wix links preferred) 2️⃣ Your resume/CV highlighting SEO and design experience 3️⃣ A brief note sharing your favorite design tool and why you use it
