Welding Production Engineer

Job Title: Welding Engineer Department: Production Job Purpose: To supervise and provide technical guidance on all welding operations, ensure adherence to international standards, and improve welding quality and efficiency, while supporting process development. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise welding processes (MIG, TIG, SMAW, FCAW, etc.). 2. Prepare and develop WPS and NDT plans. 3. Coordinate with QC for visual and NDT inspections (UT, RT, PT). 4. Train welders on updated technologies and standards. 5. Ensure compliance with safety procedures. 6. Support welding estimation and technical evaluations. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. - 3–5 years experience in industrial welding. - Familiarity with standards (ASME, AWS, ISO). - Preferred certification: CSWIP, IWE. Skills: - Analytical thinking and problem solving. - Team leadership and motivation. - Discipline and workplace commitment. - Accurate technical reporting.
