About The RoleElephante is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Receiver to join our back-of-house team. This role is essential to maintaining the quality, accuracy, and organization of all incoming deliveries and inventory.

The ideal candidate has previous experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment and takes pride in keeping spaces clean, orderly, and well-stocked.

Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and store all incoming deliveries accurately and efficiently Verify contents of deliveries against purchase orders and report discrepanciesCommunicate product needs or issues to the purchaser and kitchen leadershipMaintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area, kitchen, and storage areasEnsure all food handling and sanitation guidelines are met in accordance with health department regulationsPerform opening and closing receiving duties, including setting up and sanitizing workstationsAccurately document and report breakages, shortages, or damaged goodsSupport kitchen and management teams with inventory tracking and restocking as neededAttend pre-service meetings, trainings, and department check-insQualificationsPrior experience as a receiver, stocker, or similar role in a high-volume operation preferredValid Food Handler Certificate (or ability to obtain upon hire)Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periodsComfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong attention to detail, time management, and communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a teamFlexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidaysWhy Join UsCompetitive hourly wage:
