As a Wood Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for handling certain structural projects and collaborate directly with our US stakeholder.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGConduct the post-design steps including reviewing the Truss/ Beam Design and actively communicate with your partners and stakeholders to propose the solution for improvement or adjustmentProvide engineering services related to Simpson Strong-Tie wood structures for customers mostly located in North AmericaPerform additional tasks as per requests by the team leaderYou will be trained about Simpson structure components and internal design software.DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIf you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:Degree in Civil Engineering or in other related majorsLess than 2 years of experience (We also welcome fresh graduates)English skills: Fairly good command in English (Reading and Writing), or equivalent to TOEIC 550 Comprehend construction documents including architectural and engineering drawingsStrong knowledge of structures related to Construction EngineeringBe able to work independently as well as be a team-playerAbility to respect tight deadlines and work under pressureGood organizational skill with sense of carefulness is highly requiredAcquire windows-based computer skills (Word, Excel) and AutoCADHERE IS WHAT WE OFFERAttractive salary with 100% SHUI applied salary during probation.
