ResponsibilitiesLead technical discussions and drive sound architectural decisions across backend systemsGuide engineers in making well-informed, scalable, and maintainable technical choicesOwn and prioritize technical debt reduction, refactoring initiatives, and codebase improvementsCollaborate with product and engineering leads to align technical planning with business needsActively participate in coding, code reviews, and technical deliveryDiagnose and resolve production issues, championing observability and fast recoveryEstablish and uphold engineering best practices, including test coverage, CI/CD workflows, and performance monitoringImprove developer experience and streamline engineering workflowsMentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and collaborationQualifications & Skills8+ years of professional software engineering experience2+ years of hands-on experience with Go in production systems2+ years in a tech lead or team lead capacity, driving architecture and mentoring engineersSolid experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQLProficient in Git, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and HelmExperience working with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ and/or KafkaBasic familiarity with frontend technologies like React or Next.
