Job Description: The Yard Supervisor is responsible for the effective management, organization, and maintenance of the company’s yard, ensuring that all machines are appropriately arranged, cleaned, and presented according to company standards. This role involves close coordination with product line engineers and other departments to monitor yard activities, handle stock transfers, track service orders, manage customer complaints, and report on weekly operational metrics. Key Responsibilities: Yard ArrangementEnsure all machines are systematically parked, aligned, and displayed with a good appearance in the yard.
Machine and Yard CleaningCoordinate with product line engineers to ensure the cleanliness and presentability of both the yard and machines at all times, maintaining high standards of hygiene and organization. Stock TransfersOversee stock transfers to ensure the yard has an adequate number of machines and is never empty, maintaining a well-stocked appearance. Service Order MonitoringTrack and monitor the status of requested service orders, ensuring timely completion and efficient workflow. Customer Complaint ManagementRegister major customer complaints promptly, follow up with both customers and product lines, and ensure quick and effective resolution to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Zoomlink Promotion and QR Code BindingPromote the use of Zoomlink and manage QR code binding for equipment as directed, and complete any other key tasks assigned by the line manager. Weekly ReportingPrepare and submit weekly reports on dispatch activities, inbound shipments, stock counts, and machine population, providing insights and data to support yard operations. Requirements: Proven experience in yard or warehouse supervision, preferably in a technical or industrial environment. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Familiarity with stock management and reporting processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with product line teams and adhere to company policies and standards.
