Cheap Swan Reach container home tipped to sell fast

The housing affordability crisis is forcing more buyers to look outside traditional bricks-and-mortar offerings to achieve their dream of home ownership. A container home at Swan Reach, on the River Murray, is attracting stiff competition after it was listed this week with a price guide of only $225,000 to $245,000 – just half the median value for dwellings in regional South Australia. Selling agent Ali Burdett, of CE Property Group, said the low price had attracted six potential buyers to inquire about the property at 6 Connors Rd within the first 24 hours of listing. With the first inspection planned for the weekend, Ms Burdett expected a quick sale, with several offers likely to be presented to the vendors early next week.
