Kelly Brook's 'feud' with Ant and Dec as trio set for 'awkward' I'm A Celeb reunion

Kelly Brook could be in for an awkward reunion with Ant and Dec on I'm A Celebrity . The former model is due to appear on the latest series of the ITV show, which returns tonight (November 16) at 9pm . However, it's said she's been in a feud with the Geordie hosts . Kelly appeared to suggest Ant and Dec pushed for her to get sacked from Britain's Got Talent back in 2009. She was brought in as a judge on the show, which Ant and Dec still host, but left after a matter of days. Kelly said: "There was nothing I could do in this country after Britain's Got Talent. The people at ITV were telling me that I had upset Ant and Dec and that was it. I would love to have stayed on the show. "Their egos are such that they were saying to themselves How dare she think she can come on to our show?', and since then they've been very vocal about their displeasure at me being there." A few weeks after her departure, Dec said: "We were angry about Kelly. But it was because no one asked our opinion. What was upsetting was that it happened in the first place. It was wrong from the start." Ant and Dec discussed their time working with Kelly in their 2010 autobiography, Ooh! What A Lovely Pair. Dec wrote in the memoir: "Kelly looked nervous, so I told her it was going to be great fun and to just relax. "She nodded, then looked at me and said, 'And what do you do on the show?' I looked at Simon, who was sat next to me, he turned to Kelly and said, 'Kelly, you have seen the show, haven't you?' To which she replied, 'Yeah... well, bits.' I don't want to sound like an egomaniac, but the last person who said, 'And what do you do?' was the Queen." The pair also admitted that they didn't understand why Kelly had joined the judging panel. They said: "Obviously, as hosts of the show, we have to justify that kind of thing to the audience, and no one could give us a good reason why Kelly was on board. "The simple answer was that Simon, without talking to anyone, had decided it was a good idea. We didn’t agree." They said they felt sorry for Kelly as it didn't work out and that they had been told that "it wasn’t anything personal with Kelly; it was just the four judges didn’t work." BGT boss Simon Cowell later offered Kelly a job on the BGT spin-off and insisted: "The problem was not her. Britain's Got Talent just doesn't work with four people." However, the show would in 2012 go back to the four-judge format. Have you joined Threads? Follow Daily Star to keep up to date on all things showbiz here .
