Sarah Ferguson 'hatches new plan to live in cattle shed writing romance books'

Professional turmoil, ongoing scandal, and impending homelessness present a serious conundrum to Sarah Ferguson . It's been widely reported for a long time that King Charles was keen for his younger brother, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor , and former sister-in-law Fergie to move out of their lavish mansion of Royal Lodge. Located close to Windsor Castle, the former husband and wife had called the 30-room Grade II listed property home for decades, but as the controversy surrounding them swelled into a fever pitch, they finally agreed to move out. The King had no legal way of forcing his brother to give up his "iron-clad" lease on Royal Lodge: Andrew had to agree to do so himself. However, as public outcry grew over the former couple's connection to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein , the King's brother finally agreed to hand over the keys. Vacating Royal Lodge means that Fergie is on the hunt for new digs, with Andrew prepped to move to a property in Sandringham, the monarch's privately owned, vast estate in Norfolk. His ex-wife will not be going with him, forced to sort out her own arrangements, and new reports have claimed that her daughter, Princess Beatrice, might be stepping in to put a roof over her mother's head. The Daily Mail reported that Beatrice has offered a converted "cattle shed" on her Cotswolds property to her mother, as a "granny annex". The converted shed has reportedly been "gutted and refitted with new doors and windows," and is separated from the main six-bedroom house by a courtyard, boasting its own entrance. Another option reported has been that Sarah might head to Portugal, to live in her other daughter, Princess Eugenie's, home there in a luxurious neighbourhood dubbed the "Hamptoms of Europe". Eugenie boasts a £3.6 million mansion in the lavish CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, with a myriad of A-list neighbours like Madonna, Nicole Kidman, Michael Fassbender, and Scarlet Johansson. Harry and Meghan have been previously reported to look for a home in the glamorous neighbourhood, and a source told the Daily Express, "How long she’ll stay is anyone's guess, but if it’s a long-term move, I can guarantee she'll fit well into the social scene. Scores of celebrities and stars have been snapping up properties in the area." The scandal surrounding Sarah has seen her professional life thrown into turmoil too. Her latest children's book has reportedly been "pulped" and withdrawn from sale by her publisher. The title 'Flora and Fern: Kindness Along the Way' was set to be released on 9 October, before this was pushed back to 20 November. Now, the title has been removed from publishing schedules, is unavailable to purchase from major retailers, and in-person author events and book signings have been quietly cancelled. However, new reports claim that this set back isn't discouraging Fergie from continuing her career as an author, but that she may be heading in a new direction with her offerings. Sarah has penned over 50 books, from memoirs to children's stories, but one US website wildly claims that she's turned to the bestselling author of 50 Shades of Grey, E.L. James for advice. A source was quoted by the outlet as saying, "Fergie has been saying, 'I need someone who's made real money to show me how to do it with the only thing I have left – writing.' "Fergie is saying, 'E.L. James cracked the code – I need to understand how she did it.' For Sarah, being able to pick her brain isn't about how to write erotica, it's about survival. She sees James as the blueprint for rising from nowhere and turning it into a global brand."
