4 WWE Superstars who could come out of retirement to enter John Cena's Last Time Is Now Tournament

WWE Saturday Night's Main Event XLI featured not only high-stakes matches but also an important announcement from John Cena. He appeared in a video package to address his final opponent. The 17-time World Champion revealed that he wants someone who will step up and take advantage of the same opportunity that he had when he debuted. He then announced a 16-man tournament, titled "The Last Time is Now," to determine his final opponent in December.Given that the participants in this tournament will be selected randomly from RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and even outside WWE, there is a great possibility that the Stamford-based promotion might bring some retired superstars back for the competition. Now, let's explore five WWE Superstars who could come out of retirement to enter John Cena's Last Time Is Now Tournament.#4. Bobby RoodeBobby Roode officially hung up his wrestling boots in 2024. Speaking in an interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Roode revealed that he was simply not going to return to the squared circle despite having been medically cleared to compete, effectively announcing his retirement from in-ring competition. However, he later made an appearance on NXT Homecoming on September 16, where he was featured in a backstage segment with Joe Hendry and No Quarter Catch Crew. This marked his first televised appearance as a superstar in three years. That said, there is a possibility that WWE might bring the veteran out of retirement to enter John Cena's Last Time Is Now Tournament.#3. WWE Hall of Famer The UndertakerWhen talking about WWE bringing back some retired superstars to enter Cena's Last Time Is Now Tournament, The Undertaker shouldn't be left out. Considering The Deadman's legendary status in pro wrestling, he is perhaps one of the perfect opponents for The Franchise Player in his final match in December.Despite hanging up his wrestling boots in 2020, The Undertaker's passion for the business seems strong, as he has made several sporadic appearances on TV since then. Given that he is "an influential figure" in AAA's creative and production processes, the 60-year-old might as well come out of retirement and run it back with John Cena.#2. GoldbergIn July, Goldberg officially retired from pro wrestling at Saturday Night's Main Event XL in Atlanta, his hometown. He lost to Gunther in a World Heavyweight Championship bout. However, there is a great possibility that the 58-year-old might come out of retirement and return to the squared circle one more time. Da Man was seemingly dissatisfied with how his retirement storyline played out. Hence, he could emerge as John Cena's final opponent in a must-see match.#1. Jason JordanJason Jordan was revealed as Kurt Angle's son as part of a storyline. Given that Angle was John Cena's first main roster opponent, having him as Cena's last opponent might be interesting to fans.Considering Kurt Angle's health status, it is highly unlikely that he will return to the squared circle. Hence, WWE might consider bringing back the legend's son, Jason Jordan, and have him enter John Cena's Last Time Is Now Tournament.Jason hung up his wrestling boots in 2018 due to injury and was later given a producer role by the company.

Carey Price was asked if he was "dressed up as a condom" while donning Tin Man Halloween getup, reveals wife Angela

Earlier this weekend, Carey Price’s wife Angela Price hosted a Q&A on her Instagram with a behind-the-scenes look at the family’s annual Halloween costume traditions. This year, the Prices took on a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theme with the couple and their three kids in full Rangers gear.During the session, Angela fielded a fan inquiry about whether the former Montreal Canadiens goaltender is a willing participant in the family’s themed costumes. She joked that Price cooperated now, but in the past they even teased about using a stand-in for him during fully masked looks.“Willing for a short, short time haha,” Angela wrote. “We use to joke for these masked costumes we could just get a stand in.”Angela also shared an anecdote about a previous Halloween when Price dressed as the Tin Man. According to her, the elaborate makeup became a hassle and the costume led to unexpected reactions. She revealed that Price was repeatedly asked if he was dressed as a condom, a mix-up that seemingly dampened his enthusiasm for future full-face costume efforts.“I use to be able to get him to take the kids trick or treating dressed up but this tin man costume kinda of ruined that for me... the face paint was too much of a pain and he got asked multiple times if he was dressed up as a condom 😅,” she wrote.via Instagram /@byangelapriceThe couple’s children have recently taken the front seat in choosing themes with Angela noting that the creative direction now largely comes from their oldest two. She added that their eldest daughter is moving past “cute” costumes and that the family may need to increase its creativity in coming years.Carey Price’s wife debunks properly acquisition rumorDuring her weekend Instagram Q&A, Angela Price also addressed persistent rumors and future home plans. One follower asked whether she and Carey Price had purchased a home in Miramichi. Angela directly debunked the speculation explaining that the rumor had no basis.“No, this is just a rumor. We have never considered getting a home there,” she responded.via Instagram /@byangelapriceAnother follower asked whether the family planned to remain in Kelowna long-term. Angela noted that while their future location is not set in stone, the Okanagan will continue to be an important base for the Prices.“Maybe not, but I do think we’ll always keep our home here and at least come back for summer’s,” she said. The Prices currently live in Kelowna, British Columbia, despite Carey’s unexpected trade to San Jose earlier in the summer.

Much to everyone's surprise, Fontecchio hasn't only filled Robinson's role, but he has outdone him, emerging as one of the league's best 3-point shooters.Through five games, he is shooting a staggering 60% from the field, including 59.3% from 3-point range. Backed by the spark his shooting provides, the Heat are one of the league's scoring leaders, recording 125.4 points per game.As Robinson continues to struggle in Detroit, Miami is slowly emerging as the clear winner of this trade. Under Erik Spoelstra, Fontecchio is beginning to look like the NBA's most potent offensive catalyst.4) Anfernee SimonsNBA: Boston Celtics at Philadelphia 76ers - Source: ImagnGP 6 | 15.5 PPG 2.7 RPG 1.7 APG 0.8 SPG 0.3 BPG | FG 43% 3-PT 40% FT - 77.8%Anfernee Simons has faced a drastic shift this summer, going from the Trail Blazers' primary playmaker to a reserve in Boston. Even more impressive is Simons' ability to get to his spots and create his own shot; he has also been solid at getting his teammates involved.5) John CollinsNBA: Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State Warriors - Source: ImagnGP 5 | 11.8 PPG 5.8 RPG 1.0 APG 1.2 SPG 0.6 BPG | FG 58.5% 3-PT 33.3% FT - 72.7%Much like Simons, John Collins has also had to endure a massive change of scenery, going from being a primary option in Utah to a reserve with the Clippers. For the first time in his eight-year NBA career, Collins finds himself in a winning situation and has done well to adapt to his role.He is essentially doing for the Clippers what Naz Reid did for the Timberwolves last season. Collins' efficiency inside and ability to knock down the occasional 3-pointer have greatly benefited his team. Moreover, Collins seems to have taken a sizeable leap on defense, recording a career-best defensive rating of 102.4.Honorable mentions:Onyeka Okongwu: Averaging 15.0 points and 9.2 rebounds for the Atlanta Hawks (3-3)Tari Eason: Averaging 10.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists for the Houston Rockets (3-2)Aaron Wiggins: Averaging 13.2 points and 4.7 rebounds for the OKC Thunder

"He was the best when it counted": JRM boss Dale Earnhardt Jr. admits Championship loss to Jesse Love after 'tough to watch' finale in Phoenix

Dale Earnhardt Jr. recently shared his candid thoughts about his Xfinity team's Championship loss to Jesse Love. JR Motorsports co-owner credited the Richard Childress Racing driver for outperforming his three Chevy drivers when it mattered most.Following the Xfinity finale in Phoenix, NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. acknowledged the decisive final stage run by #2 Love. The RCR driver ultimately beat the trio of JRM drivers: dominant season-long runner Connor Zilisch, reigning Champion Justin Allgaier, and Carson Kvapil. In a post-race conversation with Bob Pockrass, Dale Earnhardt Jr. said:"I watched, I saw the #2 [Jesse Love] in practice, and I was like, goodness gracious, man, they came loaded and ready and got to give him credit, man. They dialed him in, wasn't good on the first run. They dialed him in and got him better and better. He was the best when it counted. So that was tough to watch, but our guys worked really hard to do what they did. I'm proud of them. I'm proud of all of our teams for working as hard as they did all year."Furthermore, Dale Jr. also admitted the highs and lows of racing as the 20-year-old Love defeated a powerhouse organization that brought three out of four drivers in the Phoenix finale."I've been in this a long, long time and I know you go to the race track and you're going to be disappointed more often than you'll be happy and even, you know, so you kind of got to know what you signed it up for and knew coming in here. This is a possibility of the results. So certainly I had to work hard to try to be in a better position next year."After an eventful 2025 NASCAR Xfinity season, Dale Jr.-owned JRM will have a big shake-up. His star driver, Zilisch, is set to jump to the Cup Series next year with Trackhouse Racing, running a full-time schedule. Meanwhile, Allgaier will lose his crew chief, Jim Pohlman, to Kyle Busch in NASCAR's premier division."I wanted him to stay": Dale Earnhardt Jr. reflects on losing JRM's big asset in 2026 NASCAR seasonJustin Allgaier's crew chief, Jim Pohlman, will make a switch to the NASCAR Cup Series. He will lead Kyle Busch's No. 8 team under the Richard Childress Racing banner. Following the news, team co-owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. weighed in with his honest thoughts on losing the championship-winning crew chief. In an episode of Dale Jr. Download, he said:"It is hard to replace a guy like Jim. I told Jim I wanted him to stay, but I knew that he had this opportunity and that it was great for him to go and hear it out, right?""Um, he's worked at RCR before, so he knows that environment. He would know himself whether that's a comfortable environment for him. He's been there. And, uh, you know, he made the choice to go, and I love it. I think, you know, it's tough to replace him."As things stand for the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s JRM will continue to field Justin Allgaier, Sammy Smith, and Carson Kvapil. Moreover, the Chevy roster will be joined by Truck Series driver Rajah Caruth in select races.

“This sport humbles you”: Dale Earnhardt Jr. delivers a powerful message to ‘heartbroken’ Connor Zilisch after crushing title loss

Dale Earnhardt Jr. shared a powerful message for Connor Zilisch after JR Motorsports' Xfinity Championship loss to Richard Childress Racing driver Jesse Love. The No. 88 driver, Zilisch, who dominated his rookie campaign with 10 victories, failed to win the race when it mattered the most. With a storied road course background, the young sensation Zilisch not only showed his dominance on left and right turns but also headlined the traditional oval tracks of NASCAR. While the 19-year-old was poised to win the title with his season-long speed, he was short of two spots, finishing P3 at Phoenix Raceway.Reflecting on the same, JRM co-owner Dale Jr. delivered an emotional message as he spoke to the reporters post-race."He's heartbroken," said Dale Earnhardt Jr. "But there's probably worse days at the racetrack for him. This won't be the defining moment. There'll be days and hard times in the future that'll tower over moments like this, unfortunately. Because this sport, man, it humbles you. And there's some tough moments in front of him. And then I guess that's all I can tell him. It's like, hey, this ain't the worst day. This won't be the worst. Don't feel like it right now. But try to be proud of the things we did together."In his maiden full-time season in the Xfinity series, Zilisch became the regular season champion and took home the Rookie of the Year award. Along with his 10 wins, the RedBull athlete managed 20 top-5 finishes with an 18-race top-5 streak. He also led 1013 laps in 32 starts for JRM.Dale Earnhardt Jr. concedes defeat to Jesse Love after Xfinity Championship lossIn the same interview, Dale Earnhardt Jr. spoke about the current NASCAR playoff format that ultimately made the season's final race the most important event of the year. The Hall of Famer claimed that there isn't a perfect format amid the highly debated topic in the NASCAR community. He said:"Well, there's been some years, Bob, where the guys have dominated and didn't win the championship, even with the old format, the one we all love, even had its own flaws, right? So there's not a perfect format. There's just ones we all prefer more than others." [1:38 onward]Furthermore, Dale Earnhardt Jr. added:"I love this sport. I love the XFINITY series. And I love what we've been able to do here. I want to be a champion tonight, but we just, it's not us. It's Jesse Love and RCR. And I can appreciate that. And I can celebrate that. And I'm proud. I'm happy for Danny Lawrence and all those people over there at RCR, like family to me."With Connor Zilisch finishing third, reigning champion Justin Allgaier finished fifth, followed by Carson Kvapil, JRM's third Championship 4 contender, crossed the checkered flag at P13.

3 Reasons why WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI failed to live up to the expectations

WWE Saturday Night's Main Event saw new champions crowned. CM Punk became the new World Heavyweight Champion, while Jade Cargill also won her maiden Women's Championship from Tiffany Stratton. However, despite two title changes, the event couldn't live up to the hype. There were a lot of things expected from SNME, as it was slated to shape storylines for Survivor Series: WarGames, which is on November 29, 2025. But the event turned out to be a damp squib. In this listicle, we will list three reasons why WWE SNME failed to live up to expectations.#3 No return or twist A WWE event without a mind-blowing twist or a return of some superstar looks stale. This has been a specialty of the product since Vince McMahon's days, when the main events of special events left a lasting impact on the fans. However, the company's events have been gradually losing their glitter for the past few months. After SummerSlam, all the special shows of WWE have performed below expectations. For example, Wrestlepalooza, which was WWE's maiden event for ESPN, was a huge letdown. There was no twist or return of any superstar. The same happened with SNME. There was no twist in any storyline. The Vision was expected to interrupt the match between Jey Uso and CM Punk, but the trio of Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed remained absent. Brock Lesnar, too, was expected to make a return, but that also didn't happen. Cody Rhodes was expected to drop the Undisputed Championship to Drew McIntyre, but that also didn't happen. In essence, SNME was below expectations, which once again raises a big question about the creative direction of the company.#2 Same old story with former WWE Champion, Drew McIntyreDrew McIntyre's poor run continues in the company. Once again, he had to taste defeat at the hands of Cody Rhodes. He had earlier lost the match to Cody at Wrestlepalooza, which was quite expected. However, when the creative team pitched another match with Cody with the title on the line, it seemed that something was indeed in the works. It was rumored that Cody could lose the title to McIntyre, especially when McIntyre put up a condition that should the match end by DQ or count-out, Rhodes would lose the championship. Cody had agreed to McIntyre's new condition before the contract signing. But it showed no result. McIntyre had to swallow a bitter pill of defeat. It also shows that maybe WWE wasn't too keen on pushing him and just wanted to use him for losing big matches. However, the fans hold the 40-year-old superstar in high regard. A large section of the WWE Universe indeed wanted Drew McIntyre to win the championship at SNME despite him being a heel. This shows the enormous amount of faith the fans still have in him. But maybe Triple H thinks otherwise. It remains to be seen how the company books McIntyre after these two back-to-back losses.#1 CM Punk vs Jey Uso's lackluster matchThe main event match between CM Punk and Jey Uso was also a big letdown. Jey Uso appeared disengaged during the match, and so did CM Punk to an extent. It wasn't an edge-of-the-seat thriller match, something that would have taken the fans by surprise.Rather, it was a dull match with CM Punk quite expectedly winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Moreover, Jey Uso, who had been exhibiting heel vibes for the past few months, also didn't turn heel. View this post on Instagram Instagram PostIn this match, the fans expected the intervention of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed: the Vision members who weren't allowed to compete in the Battle Royal match on RAW. However, nothing of that sort happened, and CM Punk walked out with the title. It will be interesting to see how Triple H weaves storylines for Survivor Series, which is just three weeks away. This week's Monday Night RAW is going to be an interesting one.

Five arrested for murder of man in Bandlaguda following gang rivalry

Five men were arrested by the Hyderabad police within two days of the murder of a 24-year-old man, Shaik Mohisin, in Ghouse Nagar of Bandlaguda, in a case linked to ongoing rivalries between local cow-theft gangs. Those arrested individuals were identified as Syed Sha Fahad, 23, a cab driver; Syed Sohail, 21, an auto driver; Mohammed Amer, 24, an auto driver; Mohammed Bin Abdullah Saif alias Mohammed Topi, 32, an auto driver; and Shaik Afroz, 30, a cab driver, all residents of the Bandlaguda and Falaknuma areas of Hyderabad. The murder was reported on the night of October 29 and all five accused were arrested on November 1. Investigation revealed that the accused were close friends. Fahad and Saif had a long-standing rivalry with two men, Riyaz and Hashmath, both members of local cow-theft gangs. The duo had earlier tipped off the police about the gang’s activities, leading to several arrests and subsequent resentment. After securing bail, the gang members allegedly began searching for Fahad and Saif to take revenge. During this period, the deceased, Mohisin, informed Fahad and Saif that the gangs were looking for them. However, the accused later discovered that Mohisin himself had been sharing their whereabouts with the rival groups. They also suspected that he had financially supported the Adil gang, which was involved in the murder of Fahad’s cousin, Mubarak Sigar, in January 2024. Believing Mohisin to be betraying them, Fahad and Saif conspired with their associates to kill him. On the night of October 29, around 9 p.m., three of the accused — Fahad, Sohail and Amer — went to Mohisin’s pan shop at Ghouse Nagar, called him outside, and attacked him with a sickle and knives. Mohisin sustained multiple injuries and died on the spot.

Burnt-on iron stains will disappear in seconds when wiped with 1 'magic' item loved by cleaner

A clean iron can boost your laundry efficiency, whilst a grimy one might scorch fabrics, splatter rusty or murky water onto garments, or struggle to reach proper temperatures. How frequently you should clean an iron varies depending on usage and the products employed each session. Nevertheless, an iron requires flushing to eliminate limescale a minimum of four times annually. The soleplate needs attention when you notice a lacklustre film or brown-tinted accumulation on the surface - an issue that plagues countless households, reports the Express . Cleaning enthusiast and home organisation guru Anita Birges shared her approach on Instagram @mise_en_place_aus with a video showcasing her "magical" technique. Her post read: "Watch as I bring this iron back to life in minutes using just a paracetamol tablet and a few simple moves. It's seriously like magic! "Whether you're dealing with burn marks, stubborn stains, or limescale, this hack will totally transform your iron." Anita explained that you should initially crank your iron to maximum heat, then fetch a paracetamol. Ensure it's a tablet rather than a capsule and grip it securely with tweezers. Next, delicately work over the soiled areas on the iron's base. Anita explained: "Whether it's burn marks, stains, or crusted on limescale, the paracetamol simply melts it all away." For the concluding stage, remove the grimy remnants using a lightly moistened cloth and "watch the cleaning magic happen". Just mind your fingers as the iron will still be extremely hot.

Jeremy Vine claims Andrew will be 'in US jail within five years after being buried alive'

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, will be in an American jail within five years after being "humiliated" and "buried alive" by the Royal Family, Jeremy Vine has claimed on the BBC. Speaking on Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, broadcaster Jeremy Vine said he thinks this week's events - where Andrew was stripped of his prince title - gives way for the disgraced Royal to be extradited to the US. In another shock development, Defence Secretary John Healey earlier confirmed that steps are being taken to take away Andrew's last remaining military honour, as vice admiral of the Navy. Andrew stepped back from royal duties in 2019 over his links to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein. Mr Vine said of the Royal, who will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor: "He's been buried alive. I was amazed at what John Healey told you that they're taking the last military honor away from him. "It's not enough for him to disappear, they want him humiliated. But I wonder whether the Americans will think, 'okay we can now go for him'. And I would reckon in the next five years he'll be in an American jail." Asked by a slightly dumfounded Ms Kuenssberg whether he thinks this will actually happen, Mr Vine said: "I think they'll they'll start extradition proceedings on him. Because now he has no protection." Vine went on to note that British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell is in jail, and Andrew's support has been pulled, adding: "And that must be a signal to the FBI and others that they can now look into him properly." Sex trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre, who tragically took her own life earlier this year, claimed she was forced to have sex with Andrew three times - which has consistently and vehemently denies. Ms Giuffre's family said the decision to strip him of his royal titles are an "acknowledgement" by Buckingham Palace that something had happened to her, reports the Mirror . Defence Secretary John Healey confirmed that Andrew will be stripped of his honorary rank of vice-admiral. He was made a vice-admiral on his 55th birthday in 2015 and retained the rank after giving up his other military positions in 2022. Mr Healey told the BBC's Sunday With Laura Kuenssberg programme: "In general, the Government's been guided by the decisions and judgments the King has made. "In defence, it's exactly the same. And we've seen Andrew surrender the honorary positions he's had throughout the military, and guided again by the King , we are working now to remove that last remaining title of vice-admiral that he has." Asked whether Andrew could lose his military medals as well, Mr Healey said they were "medals for his service", adding: "I don't have an update for you on that, but just as with his vice-admiral rank and title, we would be guided by the decisions the King makes." The Defence Secretary pointed out that any decision to remove Andrew from the line of succession is a matter for the King. Andrew is eighth in line to the throne, but the Government faces calls to pass legislation removing him. Asked how the Government would respond if the King asked for him to be removed, Mr Healey said: "Well, look, that's a matter for the King." The disgraced duke is also officially departing his 30-bedroom residence, Royal Lodge. He will relinquish the lease and "relocate to alternative private accommodation", the Palace said, understood to be a property within the grounds of the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
