Bengals’ Ja’Marr Chase fires back at Jalen Ramsey’s spitting allegation

The Pittsburgh Steelers were looking to secure their position in first place in the AFC North and they were also looking for revenge against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers were successful in both ventures as they earned a 34-12 victory over their long-time but troubled rivals. The Bengals fell to 3-7 with the defeat, while the Steelers are 6-4. After the game, Bengals superstar wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase defended himself from charges that he spit at Jalen Ramsey of the Steelers. “I never opened my mouth to that guy … I didn’t spit on nobody,” Chase said with defiance. Ramsey and Chase were exchanging in trash talk throughout most of the game. They were both flagged for unsportsmanlike penalties while the Bengals were driving in the fourth quarter. The two men continued to go after each other after the penalty was called, and that’s when Ramsey said the Bengals receiver spit in his direction. While the referees did not see anything that fit that description, there was some video evidence that gave some credibility to Ramsey’s accusation. Ramsey eventually threw a punch at Chase and was thrown out of the game. “I’m sure the NFL, they’ll do their due diligence,” Ramsey said. “They got a hundred cameras out there. They can investigate. They can see everything, I just told y’all, it’s facts.” Steelers had strong defensive effort against Joe Flacco The Steelers lost their first meeting with the Bengals, dropping a 33-31 decision. Joe Flacco threw for 342 yards and 3 touchdowns in that game. The Bengals offense was unable to match that effort in this meeting. Flacco was held to 199 yards and 1 touchdown this time around. Mason Rudolph stepped in at quarterback for the Steelers in place of Aaron Rodgers, who left the game after injuring his left wrist. Rudolph completed 12 of 16 passes for 127 yards with 1 touchdown. Rodgers completed 9 of 15 passes for 116 yards and 1 touchdown before he suffered his injury.

Low Awareness of Dental Care in Indonesia: A Growing Issue

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia is still facing a serious dental health problem. Healthy teeth have a significant impact on nutrition, productivity, and the future development of children. The low awareness of dental care from an early age has led to the continuation of this issue. The Ministry of Health is pushing for the transformation of dental health services to be more accessible to the public. Director General of Pharmacy and Medical Devices at the Ministry of Health, Lucia Rizka Andalucia, stated in Jakarta on November 14, 2025, "Through the Best Fast Results Program (PHTC), including free health check-ups, dental and oral health components have become an important part of these services."The 2023 Indonesia Health Survey showed that about 57 percent of the population experienced dental problems in the last year. This figure emphasizes the significant burden of dental health in Indonesia and the importance of better education and preventive services.Lucia also highlighted the lack of medical personnel, including the need for about 2,775 dentists at the community health centers. This shortage directly impacts the quality and distribution of dental and oral health services and preventive dental health education. She stated, "Unfortunately, from primary health service data, about 40 percent of community health centers do not have the complete 9 health workers, and one of the largest shortages is in the need for dentists, with a shortage of 2,775 dentists at community health centers."Indonesia Dental Exhibition & Conference (IDEC) 2025 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) / Tempo-Aprilian Rodo Rizky Furthermore, the government ensures the availability and distribution of health supplies, including instruments and disposable materials, even to remote areas. This step aims to ensure that people throughout Indonesia can access dental health services optimally.Lucia added that from 2022 to 2024, the government has allocated around Rp700 billion for the procurement of dental health equipment, through the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP).""During the dental health equipment transactions in 2022 to 2024, we received quite a high procurement spending for dental health equipment in LKPP, around Rp700 billion," said Lucia."Through policies and the transformation of the health system in Indonesia, the Ministry of Health is pushing for the growth of a comprehensive ecosystem for dental health services, starting from the production of quality dental health equipment, the provision of quality health services, so that our society can easily and affordably access dental health services," said Lucia. The Indonesia Dental Exhibition & Conference (IDEC) 2025 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) brought together 250 companies from 11 countries, including China, Italy, and Korea. Jordan Ott, Quin Snyder stroll down memory lane ahead of Suns-Hawks

PHOENIX– Two rooms and a hallway apart were Phoenix Suns head coach Jordan Ott and Atlanta Hawks head coach Quin Snyder. However, their respect for one another started way before Sunday’s game. It started in Atlanta, where both were assistant coaches, studying film and how to break down particular coverages on offense and defense. Fast forward, and Snyder ends up with the Utah Jazz, and Ott makes stops in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and then Cleveland. There, the two continued to develop a respect and trust for one another. Even as Snyder returned to the Hawks, his former assistant joined the Cleveland Cavaliers with the same position and helped build one of the top offenses in NBA history. Now, Ott is leading the Suns into a promising future. Still, the latter is amazed at what Snyder can do with X’s and O’s. “Always prepared, always thinking,” Ott said pregame before Sunday’s game versus Atlanta. “Oftentimes, he was so smart, so intelligent, so detail-oriented. “Obviously, he had been a head coach before. This was just a placeholder until he was the head coach again. You can feel that pretty quickly. He was only there one year before he moved on, moved to Utah. Just a mastermind in general.” Quin Snyder feels the same respect for Jordan Ott Roughly 15 minutes after Ott spoke highly of his counterpart, Snyder reciprocated the same sentiment, but gave even greater detail. He mentioned the journey in Atlanta, the ongoing dialogue and respect for one another, and Ott’s everlasting impression. With all of that said, the Hawks’ head coach is impressed, but not overly surprised at what the first-year coach is doing. “It was someone who, even back then, it was apparent that he had not only a passion for the game but a great feel for the game, and seeing him grow as a coach over the years and staying in touch with him, it’s not surprising that he’s in the position he’s in with this opportunity,” Snyder said pregame. “And as you said, even early in the year, you can tell the imprint he’s made on the team. Guys are playing confidently and aggressively, and it’s fun to see someone that you respect and have known for a long time get an opportunity like this as a head coach in the league, and to be doing the job that he’s doing is not a surprise. But obviously happy for him, and he’s got a long, bright future ahead of him.” The Suns and Hawks are 8-5 entering the year, with Phoenix being 7th in offensive rating (119.6) and 10th in defensive rating (113.5). Sunday could be a matter of the teacher against the student, but it’s interesting to see who will come out on top.

‘Workplaces of death’: South Korean president’s childhood fuels crackdown

South Korean Kim Yong-ho thought he would die within seconds after a 200kg (441lbs) industrial press at a Hyundai Steel plant sprang to life during maintenance and crushed his legs and back. It was 2019, and Kim said he thought the heavy machinery around him had been switched off as he made repairs. “I was flattened like a squashed frog in a roadkill,” he said. “I couldn’t breathe for a few seconds.” A quick-thinking colleague saved his life by alerting the machine’s operator, said Kim, now 39. Haunted by his own injuries as a child labourer, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung – who crushed his finger and arm making rubber and later baseball gloves – has vowed to lower the country’s above-average rate of industrial accidents in what he calls “workplaces of death”. So far, his administration has raided companies, increased spending to prevent industrial accidents and expanded workplace protections to subcontracted labourers, among other initiatives. His critics, however, say he is punishing companies – not proactively protecting workers – and they believe his pro-labour rhetoric is nothing more than repackaged populism. In its 37 trillion won (US$25.5 billion) budget for next year, the Labour Ministry increased spending to prevent industrial accidents and said it would fine companies up to 5 per cent of their operating profit if they recorded three deaths or more in a year. The president has also visited firms to press for improved safety and set up a special team to investigate industrial accidents. Some companies have already reacted by shortening work shifts, sacking officials and pausing projects. Changing attitudes Labour Minister Kim Young-hoon, a former train operator and labour activist, said the new policies would not be effective unless attitudes changed about work. “There has been a perception in South Korea that we should sacrifice some casualties in order to push the country to grow faster,” he said in an interview. “If we don’t bring a fundamental change to such perceptions, no policy would work.” According to International Labour Organization data from 2023, South Korea had 3.9 deaths per 100,000 workers, well above the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development average of 2.6. For fatal construction accidents, South Korea has the second-highest rate among OECD member countries with 15.9 deaths per 100,000 workers, according to ILO and official South Korean data. Earlier this month, a hulking, decommissioned heating structure at a power station in Ulsan collapsed on nine workers as they prepared to demolish it. A couple were quickly rescued but seven others were trapped; rescuers worked for more than a week to recover their lifeless bodies. “I used to be a factory worker and I was a victim of an industrial accident too,” the president said in July during a visit to a bread factory run by SPC Group where a worker was crushed to death in May. After Lee’s visit, SPC changed work shifts to an eight-hour schedule from 12 hour shifts. Over the past few months, builder POSCO E&C sacked its chief executive and halted 103 construction sites following the deaths of two expressway builders. Shipbuilder Hanwha Ocean apologised and suspended operations after a supervisor died at its shipyard. Nearly 80 executives at DL Construction tendered their resignations after a death at a construction site. POSCO, DL and Hanwha said they resumed operations and construction after undertaking safety measures. Last year, South Korea’s Serious Accidents Punishment Act was applied to workplaces employing five or more people. Under it, employers can face a jail term of at least a year for a single death. But deaths have not dropped over the past five years, rising 4.1 per cent to 2,098 last year. Nearly 86 per cent of employers accused of violating the law were released on probation and paid an average fine of 73 million won. Populist measure? Critics say the South Korean president is sounding populist notes and scapegoating companies rather than preventing accidents. Jung Jin-woo, a professor in the Department of Safety Engineering at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, said South Korea had many more safety inspectors than some developed countries and Lee’s plans only gave the perception of safety. “If [Lee] keeps pushing companies to meet standards that they can never meet, they may focus on just pretending to do it,” Jung said. Labour Minister Kim said the government was taking preventive – not just punitive – steps, like subsidising companies’ safety equipment purchases. “This is not a political show or a temporary thing at all,” Kim said. The minister said South Korea’s problem with industrial accidents was made worse because companies hire chains of subcontractors to skirt legal responsibility and cut costs. In August, the liberal Democratic Party passed the Yellow Envelope Act, which expands protection to subcontracted workers. In a statement, the 1.2 million-member Korean Confederation of Trade Unions said Korea East-West Power, the government-run company that operated the site of the deadly power plant collapse earlier this month, tried to avoid risks by hiring outsourced workers. The union also said the company’s safety rules were lacking. Kwon Myung-ho, CEO of Korea East-West Power, said on Thursday that the company would investigate the cause of the accident and try to remedy the situation. Kim, the temporary Hyundai Steel worker who was hospitalised for a month and took a two-year leave to deal with mental illness after his accident, said he had to resume his former job to make a living, even though he saw no safety improvements. Hyundai Steel declined to comment. “Nothing has changed after I returned,” Kim said.

Bengals tie unwanted NFL record in ugly loss to Steelers

Coming off their bye week, the Cincinnati Bengals faced a must-win situation to keep their AFC North hopes alive, but they fell 34–12 to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at Acrisure Stadium. The loss dropped Cincinnati to 3–7, extending its losing streak to three games. Though this was arguably their best defensive performance since Week 1, the Bengals once again surrendered at least 27 points, tying the Super Bowl-era record for giving up that total in nine straight games set by the 2020 Los Angeles Chargers, according to Jay Morrison of Sports Illustrated. Cincinnati started strong but gradually collapsed as the game wore on. After Pittsburgh struck first on an 11-yard Kenny Gainwell catch-and-run from Aaron Rodgers, the Bengals answered with their only touchdown, a 28-yard Tee Higgins reception from Joe Flacco, who finished 23-of-40 for 199 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. A penalty on the PAT attempt led Cincinnati to pursue a two-point try from the 1-yard line, which failed and left the Bengals trailing the rest of the way. The Bengals’ defense held the Steelers to 10 first-half points, forcing three straight punts and surviving multiple penalty-heavy series. Still, Still, Pittsburgh entered the break leading 10–6, courtesy of two Chris Boswell field goals. Cincinnati reduced the gap to 10–9 after halftime with an Evan McPherson field goal, but the game quickly slipped away from them. The Steelers lost both Aaron Rodgers (hand injury) and Jaylen Warren (leg injury) early in the second half. Yet backup Mason Rudolph stabilized the offense, completing 12-of-16 for 127 yards and one touchdown, while Pittsburgh converted 7 of 13 third downs and totaled 343 yards. The game’s turning strike came with 37 seconds left in the third quarter, when Steelers safety Kyle Dugger intercepted Flacco on a pass intended for Higgins and returned it 74 yards for a touchdown, extending Pittsburgh’s lead to 20–9. The Bengals pulled within 20–12 after a Jalen Ramsey ejection for punching Ja’Marr Chase extended a drive, but the momentum didn’t last. The Bengals closed the gap to 20–12 following Jalen Ramsey’s ejection for striking Ja’Marr Chase, but the rally didn’t last. Rudolph later found Gainwell for a second touchdown, and on Cincinnati’s next possession, Noah Fant fumbled after a short catch. Steelers corner James Pierre returned it 33 yards for the second Pittsburgh defensive touchdown of the day, putting the game beyond the Bengals’ reach at 34–12. Cincinnati faces a challenging stretch next, hosting the New England Patriots in Week 12, followed by matchups against the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills.

Marco Rubio says Nicolás Maduro’s Cartel de los Soles to be designated a terrorist organization

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced Sunday that the Cartel de los Soles, a powerful criminal network tied to Venezuela’s top leadership, will be labeled as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). The move appears to be an escalation in Washington’s stance toward the Venezuelan government and could lead to military action against the Maduro regime. In a statement, Rubio confirmed the U.S. will formally designate the cartel as an FTO later this month. The designation, which is to take effect Nov. 24, targets the criminal network allegedly led by Venezuelan strongman Nicolás Maduro and senior members of his regime. "Neither Maduro nor his cronies represent Venezuela’s legitimate government," the statement read. The designation will become official once it’s published in the Federal Register. The Cartel de los Soles had previously been sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury Department under Executive Order 13224, which targets terrorists and those providing support to terrorism. TRUMP ADMIN TELLS CONGRESS IT DETERMINED US ENGAGED IN FORMAL 'ARMED CONFLICT' WITH 'TERRORIST' DRUG CARTELS In an accompanying post on X, Rubio said: .@StateDept intends to designate Cartel de los Soles as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). Headed by the illegitimate Nicolás Maduro, the group has corrupted the institutions of government in Venezuela and is responsible for terrorist violence conducted by and with other designated FTOs as well as for trafficking drugs into the United States and Europe. The statement came as President Trump reiterated that the U.S. was intent on stopping drug dealers and drugs filtering into the country. "We're stopping drug dealers and drugs from coming into our country," Trump told reporters Sunday night. UN says Israel shot at its peacekeepers in Lebanon

Beirut [Lebanon], November 17 (ANI): The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said that Israeli soldiers shot at its peacekeepers in their latest targeting of UNIFIL as Israel continues to attack Lebanon on a near-daily basis in violation of a yearlong ceasefire in its war against Hezbollah, Al Jazeera reported.Israeli forces on Sunday (local time) “fired on UNIFIL peacekeepers from a Merkava tank from near a position Israel has established in Lebanese territory”, the peacekeepers said in a statement, adding heavy-machinegun rounds hit about 5 metres (5.5 yards) from their personnel.UNIFIL said the peacekeepers were able to leave safely 30 minutes later after the tank withdrew inside the Israeli position.Israel said its soldiers who fired at UNIFIL did so due to “poor weather conditions” and mistook the UN patrol for “suspects”.The Lebanese army also issued a statement: “The army command affirms that it is working in coordination with friendly countries to put an end to the ongoing violations and breaches by the Israeli enemy, which require immediate action as they represent a dangerous escalation,” as per Al Jazeera. In September, UNIFIL said Israeli drones had dropped four grenades close to its peacekeepers in southern Lebanon with one landing within 20 metres (22 yards) of UN personnel and vehicles.UNIFIL said the shooting “represents a serious violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701”, which ended a 2006 conflict between Israel and Hezbollah and also formed the basis of the November 2024 truce.“Yet again, we call on the [Israeli military] to cease any aggressive behavior and attacks on or near peacekeepers,” UNIFIL said on Sunday.UNIFIL has been working with the Lebanese army to maintain the truce between Israel and Hezbollah, which brought an end to intensive hostilities that erupted into full-blown war after the start of the Gaza war in October 2023, Al Jazeera reported.Israel killed more than 4,000 people, mostly civilians, in its recent war on Lebanon and displaced more than a million people. It razed dozens of villages and occupied – and still refuses to withdraw from – at least five points on Lebanese territory as stipulated under the deal, as per Al Jazeera. (ANI)

Are Bears actually good? Caleb Williams has Chicago on right path after another clutch win

One could infer that the Chicago Bears are one of the best teams in the NFL when just looking at their record. After a win over the Minnesota Vikings, the team is 7-3. Week 11 isn’t over, but as of now, they are atop the NFC North. The team’s point differential tells a different story, as they’ve been outscored by six points through 10 games. The team has mastered one thing that gives them a bright outlook, and that is fourth-quarter mastery. So, are the Bears good, or will their record balance out with more losses going forward? The Bears’ fourth-quarter prowess has them in a great spot Brad Rempel-Imagn Images Last season, the Bears were viewed as a team that didn’t reach their potential, largely because they struggled in late-game situations. Chicago has righted their wrongs, as their five fourth-quarter comebacks and game-winning drives are the most in the NFL this season. The team is loaded with talent on offense. Caleb Williams is proving why he was the number one pick, and he has tons of weapons to throw to, including Rome Odunze, DJ Moore, Luther Burden, Cole Kmet, and Colston Loveland. The team’s offensive line was revamped in the offseason, too, and the defense is seemingly improving week by week. It has all resulted in one of the best records in the NFL. Every game is seemingly a nailbiter for the Bears, and Chicago’s inability to win comfortably has some fans worried. Their expertise at winning close games should be praised, though. Williams was selected first overall because he can make big plays, often off script. That has been showcased during Chicago’s numerous comeback efforts. The team hasn’t just relied on the offense in these situations, either. Most recently, it was an explosive 56-yard kick return by Devin Duvernay that set up Cairo Santos’ game-winning field goal. The Bears actually were up 16-3 coming into the fourth quarter against the Vikings, so unlike normal, it wasn’t Chicago that did most of the comeback work. The Bears did give up the lead, though, and their ability to grind it out in ugly fashion was inspiring. Wins don’t come easy in the NFL, and the Bears have put themselves in a great place to win arguably the best division in football. They are a young team, so it can be argued that they are ahead of schedule in the rebuild. Ben Johnson is a play-calling genius, too. More consistency would be ideal, and Chicago’s lack thereof may prevent it from truly contending for the Super Bowl this year. The team has a young and exciting core that isn’t far off from contention, though, and they could even make noise in the postseason this year.

Williams: Joe Burrow Super Bowl-era Cincinnati Bengals fans officially 'bengalized'

My wife came into the room after watching the Cincinnati Bengals’ latest embarrassment against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon. “Now I know what it feels like,” she said, dejected following the 34-12 stinker. “What do you mean?” I replied. “I was never into the Bengals or football until Joe Burrow and the Super Bowl team,” she said. “All the newer Bengals fans are now going through what all the older Bengals fans have talked about and dealt with for years. The disappointment. The frustration. The anger.” Bengals Steelers defense Did Bengals defense show signs of improvement in loss to Steelers? Welcome to Bengaldom, newbie. Congratulations! You’ve officially been bengalized. It’s back to the future for a franchise that can never seem to distance itself quite enough from the lost decade of the 1990s. The Bengals looked and played like the laughingstock of the NFL in a supposed must-win game in Pittsburgh, which buried the Bengals further in the AFC North standings. Cincinnati maintained its stronghold on leading the league in missed tackles, another comedy of whiffs and poor angles that should be put on a YouTube reel and set to circus music. Season over. Shut down Burrow’s attempt to come back from injury this season. Football is officially back to being no fun in Cincinnati. The Bengals have lost 7 of their last 8 games and are free falling into perpetual top-5 draft pick territory. You feel like you're owed an explanation, don't you? You want coach Zac Taylor and roster architect Duke Tobin fired. You want the Bengals to hire a real general manager and a fully staffed scouting department. You want wholesale changes on defense. You invested money and time after the Super Bowl run in the 2021 season. You bought Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase jerseys for the whole family. You cleared your fall Sunday calendars to devote to the Bengals. And now you want an apology from team owner Mike Brown. Heck, you'll settle for hearing from anyone in the front office. Anyone who will take accountability for a franchise that'll miss the playoffs for the third consecutive season. Not happening, newbie. And don’t expect one damn thing to change, either. Just be happy you have an NFL team in Cincinnati and go about your way. That's ownership's attitude toward you. Go commiserate with all the Hudy Delight-loving diehards still clinging to the glory years of Anthony Muñoz, Ken Anderson and Boomer Esiason. This is what that 1980s generation of new Bengals fans experienced in the 1990s. The Bengals went to the Super Bowl in the 1988 season. Fans bought in, believing it was just the beginning. By 1991, the Bengals were 3-13. Paul Brown, the great football pioneer and franchise founder, died in August that year, officially beginning his son's run as club owner. That year also started a run of 14 consecutive seasons without a winning record. The Bengals won four or fewer games in seven of those seasons. This is shaping up to be a three-win season. Further, it’s shaping up to be a run of disappointing seasons. Hard to accept it after that surprise Super Bowl run followed by the narrow loss in the AFC Championship game in the 2022 season. It’s time to come to grips with reality. The window to win a Super Bowl with Burrow is over. The Bengals’ defense is such a mess, it’s going to take multiple seasons to fix it. And that’s far from a sure thing with how poorly the Bengals draft and develop defensive players. The Bengals’ front office has backed itself into a tough spot. It’s spent all of its money on offensive players, leaving the defense to be built through the draft. It’s a terrible roster-building model for a franchise that has a half-dozen people in its scouting department while the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens and pretty much every other NFL team have five times that many player personnel staffers. The Bengals' front office doesn’t understand that it takes having a good defense to win in the NFL. It takes more than just paying a lot of money to the quarterback and a couple of wide receivers to sustain success. But hey, a great quarterback and exciting receivers sell tickets and jerseys. It makes sense when you realize what ownership’s top priority is – making money. It’s not winning. The quicker you grasp all this, newbie, the less disappointed you’ll be on future fall Sundays. Kako osvojiti nagrade kroz tjedne casino izazove

Kako osvojiti nagrade kroz tjedne casino izazove ovisi i o vašem pristupu – praćenjem vijesti samog casina i iscrpnim pregledom rasporeda izazova možete efikasnije planirati kada i kako igrati. U konačnici, uz malo pažnje i pravog planiranja, lako ćete shvatiti kako osvojiti nagrade kroz tjedne casino izazove i u potpunosti uživati u ovoj vrsti zabave i natjecanja. Dobro upravljanje budžetom također će vam omogućiti da dugoročno sudjelujete u tjednim casino izazovima i time kontinuirano ostvarujete dodatne nagrade. U konačnici, kako osvojiti nagrade kroz tjedne casino izazove postat će vam mnogo jasnije ako redovito pratite rezultate i analizirate svoje uspjehe i pogreške. ‘Why not?’: Bucks party guest’s ‘hero’ act

Police allege the man entered a Graham St home in Spearwood about 12.20pm and stole a white Toyota LandCruiser station sedan. About 2.40pm, officers spotted the stolen vehicle on Cockburn Rd near Rockingham Rd and activated emergency lights and sirens, but the driver allegedly refused to stop. The pursuit weaved through Hamilton Hill, Coogee, and Claremont, with the driver allegedly travelling at excessive speeds, running red lights, and driving on the wrong side of the road. The vehicle allegedly even entered fields and shifted lanes recklessly. The incident ended about 3.30pm when the Toyota allegedly collided with a rental car outside a shopping complex on Station St in Cottesloe. The driver fled on foot, but a group of bystanders, including bucks party guest Sam Page, stepped in to help police. “I was leaving a good friend’s bucks party, and I saw them running up the road and thought ‘Why not stop what’s happening’,” Mr Page told 7News. “I went outside and decided to become a hero. I feel like Australian of the year, I feel like I should be nominated for that.” Vision of the arrest shows the man being pinned to the ground by a police officer while a police helicopter monitors the scene. A local shop owner described seeing the commotion, noting the man “gave them a shoulder barge and dropped (the officer) to the ground”. On Sunday, police charged the man with two counts of reckless driving to escape police pursuit, two counts of failing to comply, assaulting a police officer, failing to stop, driving without authority, aggravated home burglary, and motor vehicle theft. The man was scheduled to appear in Perth Magistrates’ Court on Sunday. Police praised the assistance of members of the public in bringing the pursuit to a safe conclusion.

Analysis: Bengals fail to do anything well in blowout loss to Steelers

PITTSBURGH – The stage was set for the Cincinnati Bengals to get within a game of the AFC North lead on Nov. 16 at Acrisure Stadium when quarterback Joe Burrow returned to practice earlier in the week. Burrow’s return and a weekend off was supposed to be the recipe to fix all of the Bengals’ issues. Instead, the Bengals lost 34-12 to the Steelers and the season is all but over now that team is 3-7. “It’s really frustrating and disappointing and not what we expected on our end, but it’s what we did,” Bengals coach Zac Taylor said following the game. A win against the Steelers would have kept the Bengals in the thick of the AFC North chase. Now, the Bengals are three games behind the Steelers (6-4) and still have to play the Baltimore Ravens (5-5) twice. The AFC North title will come down to the Steelers or the Ravens likely claiming the title. Cincinnati will likely miss the playoffs again. If the Bengals do miss the postseason again, it will be for the third consecutive season. Bengals’ ownership will be faced with some tough decisions to make following the season. Bengals coach Zac Taylor faces scrutiny over game management in fourth quarter The Bengals were down 20-9 at the start of the fourth quarter. Emotions were running high at this point in the game between Pittsburgh defensive back Jalen Ramsey and Cincinnati wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. Facing a 3rd-and-1, the Bengals ran a play for Kendall Milton for no gain. Taylor opted to use one of his three timeouts before deciding whether to go for it on 4th-and-1. It was questionable to use a timeout. The Bengals were gifted an automatic first down when Ramsey was disqualified from the game for unsportsmanlike conduct for an interaction with Chase, so the timeout was essentially burned for no reason. Taylor defended his decision to call a timeout on 4th-and-1 following the game. “To try to get them to jump,” Taylor said of why he took a timeout. “It’s a tough call; they are a tough short-yardage unit to go against. Yeah, the decision was worth criticizing, but we felt that was an opportunity and it didn’t work out.” Cincinnati ran one play, and it was a pass to tight end Noah Fant for five yards getting the Bengals to the 29-yard line. Taylor then called another timeout, his second on that possession. The Bengals ran three more plays before a delay of game penalty was called on the Bengals, moving them back five yards. On the ensuing play, Flacco missed an opportunity to connect with Tee Higgins and the Bengals were held to just three points. The Bengals ran six plays, used two timeouts and ran three minutes off the clock and lost a yard before having to kick a field goal. This sequence of events hurt the Bengals because they didn't get within one score and burned two timeouts in a must-win situation on the road. “It got loud,” Taylor said. “The communication became a problem on one of the timeouts, so your choice is to just stand there and run no play as you’re trying to figure it out with ten seconds on the play clock, so we called the timeout there. The delay of game was because it was hard to hear. It was challenging, it was a loud environment.” Bengals’ defense continues to not tackle opposition In Taylor’s opening statement following the loss in Pittsburgh, he admitted that the Steelers were the better tackling team and it’s one of the reasons they won. “They tackled better,” Taylor said. He’s right. The Steelers didn’t give up chunk plays as frequently as the Bengals did. Pittsburgh (343 total net yards) outgained Cincinnati (297) by 46 yards. Tackling continues to be the Bengals’ biggest deficiency on defense and no matter how much it appears to be stressed, it’s not improving. Taylor said he wasn’t planning to make any personnel changes despite the tackling issues following the loss. Cincinnati’s opening drive provided a glimpse of why the tackling issues are so detrimental. Pittsburgh running back Jalen Warren ripped off a 35-yard run on 2nd-and-4 and two plays later, the Steelers scored at touchdown. There were multiple displays of poor tackling and now the Bengals have set yet another NFL record on defense. The Bengals have given up 27 points in nine straight games, tying the Super Bowl era record set by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2020. Cincinnati is on pace to become the worst defense of all-time, and their lack of tackling is a big reason for it. Ja’Marr Chase, Jalen Ramsey incident will get the NFL’s attention Following the game, Ramsey was asked what led to him throwing a punch on Chase. Ramsey said Chase spit on the Steelers’ defensive back. Chase denied it when asked about the incident in Cincinnati’s locker room. A video of the altercation was released, and it showed Chase spitting on Ramsey. The NFL will investigate the matter and depending on what they decide, Chase could face a suspension from the league office for unsportsmanlike conduct. Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter was suspended one game for spitting on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott earlier this year. Chase is a team captain for the Bengals and the team’s best player so losing him for a game would put the team in a bind as they look to snap a three-game losing streak.
