Job Description

Our client is an international investment and Asset management company.We are looking for 2 positions, 2 Days work from home, Location: BTS line.Investment Analyst / Equity Analyst (35K-45K)ResponsibilitiesInvestment: Play a full and active role in the investment process by writing notes, attending company and team meetings and discussing and presenting investment ideasResearch: Undertake company research through the writing of stock notes, results reports and ad hoc sector, country and thematic reviewsRisk Management: Maintain up to date knowledge of compliance and dealing procedures and comply with all regulatory, legal, corporate and client mandatesMarketing/Business Development: Assist with marketing and business development opportunities and develop client and media-facing skills.Training and Development: To maintain suitable knowledge of investment process, products & allocated market/sector responsibilities, as well as systems and processes.Requirements:A good Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or FinanceCFA Level 1 qualified (or working towards)3 years’ experience in the relevant industryStrong academic performance combined with extracurricular interests and achievementsStrong analytical and research skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsTeam player with ability to manage own workloadGood influencing skillsFlexibility and adaptabilityExcellent command of spoken and written English and ThaiInvestment Manager / Fund Manager : Require Fund Manager License. (60K-75K)ResponsibilitiesInvestmentContribute to team investment process and contribute to team management of assetsLead meetings with management of companiesAttend all regular team meetings to discuss and present investment ideasProvide updates on company meetings and results at team meetingsRepresent in client meetingsLeadership/People ManagementMentor and train junior team membersMarketing/Business DevelopmentPresent the investment process to prospective clientsWork closely with distribution team to win new mandatesPortfolio AdministrationMaintain model portfoliosPlan and execute trades and ensure all trades are in line with requirements of client mandates.Portfolio Construction/ManagementAssist in monitoring portfolio and activities in the course of portfolio management workAssist in portfolio construction e.g. planning and setting up tradesParticipate in generating trade ideas for funds managed on deskAble to rebalance portfolios around corporate actions and deal with cash inflows and outflowsPlan and execute trades and ensure all trades are in line with the requirements of client mandatesResearchUndertake security and sector analysis and complete stock notesKeep up-to-date on sector, country and market developments and trendsCountry trips and produce investment trip reportsTo perform analysis of company results and provide results commentaries of portfolio holdingsRisk ManagementTo maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance and dealing proceduresTo comply with all regulatory, legal, corporate and client mandatesTraining and DevelopmentTo build and maintain knowledge of abrdn investment process, products and allocate market/sector responsibilitiesTo build and maintain knowledge of abrdn systems, including Charles River, BloombergTo participate and attend Continual Professional development opportunities in order to maintain knowledge and skillsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in related field.Experience 3 to 5 years in the relevant industryCFA qualified (advantage)Fund manager License is a requirementStrong academic performance combined with extracurricular interests and achievements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsTeam player with ability to manage own workloadGood influencing skill, Flexibility and adaptabilityExcellent command of spoken and written English and Thai
