Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for 2x Pipe Fitters on an Initial 6 month contract based in Lincoln. This role is Inside IR35Make sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview Read the complete job description below.Requirements Must have Instrumentation/ Fabrication background To be able to bend and form tubing using hand bending tools ranging from ¼”- 1” tube. To bend and form 1”- 3” using machine tool process. Ability to identify tube and flange details in accordance to specifications. Fitting, bending, forming and termination of small bore pipe work assemblies. Setting up pipe fabrications, tacking in position ready for welding. Assembly of pipe assemblies using “Swagelok” fittings. The ability to prepare and set up pipe fabrications (weld joint preparation) to contract specific drawings and systems. To have knowledge and clear understanding of engineering drawings, schematics and P&ID’s. Must be able to work under supervision by the Team leader/Cell Manager. To maintain good house always keeping and cleanliness within the department and adhere to all current and new Health & Safety requirements. Be physically fit; carry out manual work based on a minimum 8hr shift within the manufacturing package build. To be able to lift within the restraints of the Manual Handling policy.
