Job Description

Reporting into the Financial Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in this new project and be responsible for providing key financial support to the business.Key duties:Preparing financial statements including P&L accounts and balance sheet reconciliationsDelivery of the month-end process, analysing transactions and preparing journalsGenerate financial reports for internal and external stakeholdersPreparation and delivery of statutory accountsAssist with the annual audit processIntercompany reconciliations for multiple entities across AP and ARPreparation of VAT and Intrastat returnsMonitor and evaluate existing systems and processesAd hoc financial reporting and other duties that may be requiredWhat you'll need to succeedPart-qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBEProven experience in a similar role with a good understanding of P&L and balance sheetStrong knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresProactive approach to work with a keen willingness to learnAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesHighly proficient with MS Office including Excel and a confident user of finance systems (SAP4Hana an advantage)
