Location: Global Headquarters in Pfaeffikon SZ (with frequent international travel)Reports to: Head of Sales, close collaboration with cross functional teams in product developmentDepartment: Sales & Business DevelopmentDirect Reports: None (individual contributor role)POSITION SUMMARYThe Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding relationships and projects with existing business customers worldwide (apparel brands & textile manufacturers), driving profitable growth through strategic account management, selling of Livinguard Technologies’ solutions targeting the textile industry, and customer excellence. Acting as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts, the Account Manager works cross-functionally with internal teams in product development and marketing as well as in collaboration with local distributors to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs while aligning with the company’s commercial objectives.This role is central to strengthening long-term partnerships, achieving revenue targets, and positioning the company as a trusted partner within the textile and apparel ecosystem.ABOUT LIVINGUARD TECHNOLOGIESLivinguard Technologies is a Swiss material science company focused on enhancing the functionality & performance of materials across various applications through the power of positive surface charge. The technology is commercialized as chemical formulation / additive sold to B2B customers.The company is headquartered in Switzerland and operates a textile finishing business as well as textile applications & microbiology laboratory in Mumbai, India. Livinguard Technologies has built a global presence with 8 dedicated distributors and a network of 25+ sales agents / network partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAccount Ownership & Relationship ManagementServe as the primary contact for assigned accounts and customer projects, ensuring consistent communication and follow-ups, pipeline progress, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.Build and maintain deep relationships at multiple organizational levels within customer accounts (material sourcing, chemical safety & compliance, innovation & sustainability, product development, procurement, and executive teams).Act as the customer advocate internally, coordinating with supply chain, marketing, and Livinguard textile testing & microbiology laboratory teams to ensure flawless and timely execution of projects.Solution Selling & Revenue GrowthDevelop and execute account plans in collaboration with the Senior Sales team that drive sales growth, profitability, and market share.Pitch Livinguard Technologies’ solutions, explain competitive differentiation and provide first-level technical support to new and existing customers.Maintain a healthy pipeline and support outbound activities (e.g. cold email, cold LinkedIn, etc.)Support the negotiation of commercial contracts as well as communicate pricing and terms within established guidelines to secure long-term customer commitments.Manage account-level forecasting, pipeline development, and performance reporting.Business & Network Development Expand Livinguard Technologies network within brands and textile manufacturers worldwide.Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer business developments to anticipate future needs and opportunities.Represent Livinguard Technologies during tradeshows, industry conventions, and networking events to drive new leads.Collaborate with marketing and product management to tailor value propositions and promotional initiatives for key accounts.Contribute to go-to-market strategies and customer engagement programs that enhance Livinguard Technologies’ position within the wider textile industry.Operational ExcellenceEnsure timely and accurate order processing, testing activities, chemistry delivery, and issue resolution through coordination with internal operations.Maintain CRM records and sales & pipeline tracking tools with up-to-date information, forecasts, and opportunities.Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and forecasts for assigned accounts.Collaboration & TeamworkWork closely with regional independent distributors, independent sales agents, internal & external technical experts, laboratory & testing as well as marketing colleagues to align commercial activities and ensure unified customer engagement.Support strategic account reviews and account planning initiatives with company leadership.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Business / Marketing, Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Additional sales or account management certifications are advantageous.Professional Experience:5+ years of experience in B2B account management or technical/chemical sales.Proven track record of managing key customer accounts and delivering consistent revenue growth.Experience in complex sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders, preferably in apparel & textile or chemical industries.Experience and technical expertise in the textile industry, textile dyeing & finishing operations are advantageous.Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics) and outbound lead generation systems (e.g., Clay, Salesflow, Sales Navigator, Instantly, HeyReach).Skills:Strong relationship-building and communication skills across diverse stakeholders.Strategic thinking combined with hands-on commercial execution.Excellent presentation abilities.Data-driven mindset with proficiency in financial and performance analysis.Collaborative, proactive, and customer-oriented approach.Fluency in Germ and and English (written and spoken) - additional languages (especially Chinese) are a plus.SUCCESS INDICATORSAchievement of revenue and growth targets.High customer retention and pipeline progress.Accurate forecasting and disciplined account planning.Positive cross-functional collaboration with internal & external stakeholder and partners. YOUR APPLICATIONPlease submit your complete application including a cover letter and CV to careers@livinguard.com.
