JOB SUMMARYThe Accounts Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining and expanding relationships with key clients to drive revenue growth. Collaborating closely with the internal team and other managers, their focus lies on nurturing and enhancing the satisfaction of current clients. They engage with clients, ensuring effective communication and presentations on solutions and services that cater to their ongoing needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The primary responsibility of the Accounts Manager is to cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing key clients. This involves understanding their evolving needs, presenting new solutions and services based on current and emerging requirements, and consistently providing support to bolster client relationships. Instead of prospecting for new clients, the focus is on maximizing the potential within the current client base and current client network.He/she must develop rapport with key clients, and it is imperative for them to reach sales targets (booked projects) and provide support that will continually improve the relationship and communication lines. He/she is also required to do lateral growth and has to retain existing key accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients through pitch presentations and project biddings.Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is the Accounts Manager’s responsibility to develop a pipeline of new business coming from its key accounts or its current network.
