Position Overview and Impact at the StudioThe Account Manager at Public Address is a trusted steward of partner relationships and a central connector across the studio. At the intersection of strategy, communication, and delivery, the Account Manager keeps projects moving with clarity and excellence. This role shapes how partners experience Public Address – building trust, aligning creative work to business goals, and helping teams navigate the complexities of multi-disciplinary design. Just as importantly, the Account Manager is a culture carrier: fostering empathetic relationships with colleagues, encouraging collaboration, and modelling the emotional intelligence that makes great work possible.Account Managers are central to our ability to scale: managing multiple small to mid-sized projects independently while supporting larger, more complex accounts with senior business leads. The role is both operational and relational – keeping work organized, on time, and on budget, while strengthening the connections that sustain long-term partnerships. The right person is curious and courageous – asking questions, challenging assumptions, and pushing both partners and teams to think bigger.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & ApproachTranslate partner briefings into actionable creative briefs with clarity and accuracyTrack industry activity, competitive activity and cultural trends to support partner objectives and inspire creative direction for the team internallyAnticipate project risks and actively create mitigation plans to keep work on trackRelationship & CommunicationManage daily client interactions with positivity, proactivity and responsiveness, helping to build long-term trustAct as the liaison between business and design teams, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholdersConfidently present meeting agendas, timelines, and next steps to partners, while contributing to the story and flow of client presentationsNurture collaborative partner relationships through empathy and project/brand stewardshipExecution & DeliveryBuild and manage project plans independently in Notion and other project management tools, ensuring deliverables are delivered on time and budgetTrack and report on project budgets and monthly revenue, flagging overages to senior business leads.Partner with teams to manage resourcing needs and keep staffing plans accurate in FloatDraft Scopes of Work (SOWs) for small to mid-sized projects, with oversight from senior business leads.Leadership & InfluenceBegin mentoring Coordinators and interns, sharing knowledge and modelling strong project management practicesSuggest improvements to workflows and tools that create greater efficiency across projectsContribute to proposals and SOWs for organic business opportunities, supporting the growth of accountsExperience & Requirements2-3 years of experience managing projects in a design studio or design-adjacent fieldProven ability to manage 2–3 small to mid-sized projects independently, while supporting larger-scale initiatives alongside senior Account leadsWorking knowledge of Google Business suite (Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Drive, Slides, Hangouts)Experience developing and designing decks in Figma is a plusExperience managing project budgets and invoicing with a partner in finance; confidence discussing scope, assumptions, and change ordersExperience drafting SOWs for small–mid projects and coordinating vendor estimates (production, dev, content)Strong brief-writing and presentation skills; can facilitate structured meetings and coordinate next stepsExperience with Notion, Float, or similar project management tools is an assetStrong understanding of and interest in branding, design, and cultural trendsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA proactive mindset – seeking opportunities to improve processes and contribute to studio cultureHigh level of empathy and emotional intelligence, with the ability to build trust and foster strong relationships with partners and colleaguesProud to be an equal opportunity employer, Public Address is committed to creating a diverse work environment.
