Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:To manage the Club’s accounts processes in an accurate, timely and efficient manner. The role is responsible for maintaining both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring financial integrity, effective use of the Club’s systems, and strong internal controls. The Accounts Officer supports all departments to meet their financial and reporting requirements and contributes to the overall efficiency of the Club’s finance operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Accounts Payable & Expense ManagementTimely and accurate processing of supplier invoices using Exflow and Dynamics D365 in accordance with established approval workflows.Review and reconcile monthly supplier statements, following up on discrepancies as required.Prepare weekly supplier payment runs in accordance with Club payment terms.Manage and reconcile the Club’s Uber, Motorpass, and Linkt accounts, ensuring timely processing and appropriate cost allocation.Process and remit contractor superannuation payments in accordance with legislative and contractual requirements.Oversee all corporate card and employee expense claim processing through Zeno, ensuring timely submission, approval, and correct coding.Respond to supplier and internal queries promptly and professionally.2.Accounts receivableProcessing of all debtor invoice requests from internal departments within Dynamics D365.Distribution of monthly debtor statements.Assistance with debt collection and follow-up of outstanding accounts outside agreed terms.3.Bank statementsAccurately record and reconcile all club direct debits and cash receipts in Dynamics D365Support month-end bank reconciliations.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:Reliable, accountable, and detail oriented.Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset.Positive, professional, and collaborative approach to work.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, when required (Match Day).Genuine passion for sport and alignment with the Club’s values and community focus.ABOUT US:Richmond Football Club is one of the largest clubs in the Australian Football League, proudly rooted in our rich history and tradition.
