Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Erbil. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The role involves ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, preparing tax filings, and collaborating with internal teams to oversee budgeting and forecasts. Additionally, the Accountant will contribute to process optimization and financial analysis for decision-making support.QualificationsProficiency in financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliation.Experience with tax filing, regulatory compliance, and accounting standards adherence.Strong analytical and budgeting skills, along with the ability to manage financial forecasts.Familiarity with accounting software and tools; advanced proficiency in Excel is advantageous.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
