Job Description

Responsible for performing highly specialized accounting work required to maintain the Groups book of accounts/ ledger. Working under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Supervisor directs and coordinates the daily activities of the department to quickly and accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets and liabilities of the Group.Reviews book of accounts to ensure appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations.Prepares the financial statements of assigned companies.Ensure compliance to BIR, SEC and other regulatory requirements.Implements and monitors the application of existing taxes and rulings in the companys transactions and reporting.Responsible for the safekeeping of financial records.Hiring, training and supervision of accounting team members.Take ownership of the audit process, with both internal and external auditors as well as BIR examinations.Other related assignments as required.General SpecificationEducation : Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration Major in Accountancy or any related business courseCertified Public Accountant or non CPASpecialized Skills : Auditing and General Accounting SkillsExperience : Must have at least 3 years of experience in the same fieldCompetency Specification Knowledge : Taxation, FS Preparation, Philippine Accounting Standard, International Accounting Standard, Auditing and Government ReportsSoft Skills : Keen to details and with high analytical abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to supervise and able to work well within a team Interpersonal skillsTrustworthy, Reliable and ResourcefulTechnical Skills : Auditing SkillsAdvance in computer applicationMulti-tasking abilityAttitude : Act ProfessionallyStrive for excellenceDeal with careWilling to work long hours
